Strengths

Ball Hawk! He had 5 INTs and 6 PBUs at Texas in 2024. He is a good ball tracker who surveys the field well and reacts quickly.

Displays natural coverage instincts

Has great range due to his speed and recognition

Aggressive run defender with a quick trigger downfield

Very versatile. Played in the slot a lot for Clemson, but played a lot of deep safety for Texas, which is probably his best usage.
Weaknesses

Will struggle at the catch point against bigger TEs. Small for the position, and it shows up against big targets.

Tends to dive at the legs of bigger RB,s which leads to a lot of missed tackles (14.4% missed tackle rate in 2024)

Doesn't play from a trail position very well (largely irrelevant if he plays deep safety)

Doesn't have a ton of experience in man coverage
Scheme Fit/Round: 2nd - Deep safety (either split field or the post safety in single high schemes.
