You don't want a three year old seeing the specifics of mommy's privates. She should grow out her bush for a little cover.

100 percent completely normal. Especially here in japan, but also for you guys back in the states.

Yea, but in Japan the privates are pixelated, so the kid isn't really seeing anything.

Don't scar the kid or give him unrealistic expectations. Remember, everything seems bigger at that age.This happens all the time at my house. the "problem" we're having now is our 3 yo and 9 yo will walk around the house naked. At 3 it's understandable, at 9... we've had a few conversations now where I've made it clear to him that going from shower to changing is fine, but stalling, walking around for half an hour before getting dressed is beyond our comfort level, especially as he's playing with himself.

Completely normal.
That said my son saw the neighbor lady completely naked when he ran upstairs to get a toy from his buddy's room and she was coming out of the shower.
He was 7or 8 at the time and she was a low scorer on the offdee scale --- he was definitely scarred for life!

What boy doesn't play with himself? It's not like he's masturbating, he's just touching it. But like I said, we're trying to end this, at least while walking around the house.

I actually think he is afraid to touch his junk, and it leads to problems sometimes.

He then spent the next 5 minutes complaining about wanting a ninja turtle. He's super jealous of girls now.

Not sure where the line is supposed to be drawn, but I got an awesome visit from a dyfs worker and a police officer on a friday night b/c my 5 year old girl is talking at school about seeing me naked. They didn't care, but boy, was that a ####### an experience I didn't wish to have.kentric said:

Depending on what she was saying, that may have been a good call.
Kids talk about the darndest things, but a 5 yo saying "when daddy was naked he..." will get teachers attention.

Yeah, I was totally fine with their reason for stopping by. Its better safe than sorry and they have a job to do. Its just a pretty uncomfortable situation and one I certainly would've avoided if I knew it would come to that.
