4(102) Jordan Cameron, TE, Cleveland (1 Viewer)

Dropped in redraft. As long as he is with Cleveland he is going to be too inconsistent to be start-worthy on anything more than a flex basis. Not feeling remorse about it, either, He's given me nothing all year. Parting with nothing feels fine.
This. Dropped him as well this week in redraft as I was carrying Donnell. I think both were inconsistent, but with the concussion protocols he's going through potentially leading to more games missed, as well as how guys like Hawkins have been leaned upon instead of Cameron, I'm quite comfortable moving on.

Rotoworld:

Jordan Cameron (concussion) worked out "lightly" on the field before Sunday's game against the Bucs, and has been cleared for some activity.

Cameron is ruled out for Week 9, and we don't expect him to play in Week 10, either, with Cleveland facing Cincinnati on Thursday Night Football. Cameron does have a chance to return by Week 11. In 14-team leagues and deeper 12-teamers, fantasy owners should try to hang on to Cameron as an injured TE2 so long as he isn't costing you wins. He's a top-12 TE1 option when healthy.

I imagine that there will only be a walkthrough today and no updates unless it gets reported that he cleared concussion protocol?

I'm crossing my fingers that Cameron is ready to GO! He's my only TE and I just bought him, so good news would be appreciated.

No he wont. And maybe wont be back to whole year? Darn.

Roto:

Browns coach Mike Pettine admitted Friday that he doesn't know whether Jordan Cameron (concussion) will return this year.
Per Pettine, Cameron's symptoms "come and go." He suffered a severe concussion two games ago, Cameron's third over the past two seasons. "You don't know," said Pettine regarding Cameron's rest-of-season. "It's a touchy subject." Cameron's contract year has not gone as hoped. He's a free agent this offseason.

I'm starting to hope he will get out of Browns and land maybe with Faclons or something like that and wont get his head banged up again.

That's the best case scenario.

Already gave up on him this year.

Next year I'm just hoping he is actually on a football field and not at home playing Xbox with Jahvid Best.

Rotoworld:

According to ESPN Cleveland, signs point toward Jordan Cameron (concussion) playing in Week 13.

Cameron has suffered three concussions since 2012, but has been assured by doctors he's not putting his long-term health in jeopardy by continuing to play football. He practiced on Friday and is expected to practice this week before suiting up against the Bills. With Josh Gordon back to clear out the middle of the field, Cameron is trending up at the razor-thin tight end position. He needs to be scooped up off waivers if he was dropped in your league.

How much will he play this week?
Dunno, how long does it take for him to make a catch for a 1st down, get a congratulatory smack on the helmet, and leave the field?

Not really sure anyone can be starting this guy in week 13. No other options? I guess, but what'd you do last week? And the week before? He's not good enough to be one of those guys that 'if he's playing, he's starting'. Not even close.

Joke all you want, but there's very little holding this guy back from making a serious run in the fantasy (and/or real) playoffs.

Expect gordon to be perma-doubled. Expect the running game to rumble like it has all year. A returning young playmaker at TE is just what the browns need. Top 5 TE once he returns for the rest of the way... imho.

Starting him with confidence this week. And I need a win to make the playoffs. Go big or go home! The waiver wire guys are total junk. You can't predict stuff like Tim Wright going off for two TDs. I'm rolling with him, hoping he gets it done with Gordon stretching the field.

I do. Absolutely.

Source: Have had to rely on those bums while Cameron has been down.
I guess I should have said for this week. I am in a crunch and need one of these for this week

I would like to trust Cameron, but I'm not that confident. I'm debating between him or Gates with a gimpy Rivers and weak oline.

I probably will. In dynasty I have Eifert on IR and have been playing Ebron for a few weeks, with Paul on the bench. Will probably take my chances with Jordan,

Itd be nice to have a good TE for the playoffs. Meanwhile Im gonna roll with Donnell another week and hope it's the wrong decision.

Disagree with this as well, with a caveat.

Cameron has proven talent, is a great all around athlete, solid in space, and can create match up nightmares. I think he is also the biggest beneficiary of the attention Gordon draws. When he as been healthy and on, you can't leave him on your bench.

That said, will be seen how much rust he has to knock off, and how tentative he plays across the middle given that he really can't sustain another concussion.

I might indeed regularly start him over a guy like Ertz, Rudolph, or Daniels, and he has the potential to be far more effective than up and downers like Fleener, Donnell, and the others.

I just might not do that his first week back.

Disclosure, I do not own Cameron in any leagues this year.

My only problem is that I have Gordon too, and I can't quite talk myself into starting two pass catchers for the Browns.

I like Cameron's chances though. If he's just sitting on your waiver wire, he's definitely worth a shot.

Cleveland is 12th in the league in passing yardage and 7th in yards/attempt just FYI

But trending downward lately. Only 1 passing TD in the last 3 games.

I suspect things will pick up with Gordon and Cameron on the field though.

Shelf this bum for the remainder of the season and ship him off to Atlanta next year. No way I resign this fragile heap of garbage.

Rule out for sunday's game per Rotoworld.

This guy is killing me. Wasted pick on him and wasted spot on my bench. Between Jordan and Duane Allen I'm down to starting Rivera from OAK. :bag:

LOADED at TE in Dynasty: Jordan Reed, Jordan Cameron, Duane Allen. Going to CRUSH it this year.
Amateur. I have Ertz, Cameron, Clay, and Ladarius Green in dynasty. At least I won't have to worry about TE this year.

God I hate this guy. Save one game, he sucked even when he did play.
You hate him? For being hurt? Wow.

The concussions are worrisome, he could have more and be done or he could go the rest of his career with no problems. Lots of risk there, but when healthy, the guy can play. I'd put him in the same tier as Kelce and Ertz right now, all three have question marks of some kind imo.

This is my exact team. And three years ago I was really excited because I had Hernandez, Finley, and Gresham. In the same league.

Yep hate him. Taking a month and a half to recover from a concussion is indeed worrisome. not sure how many more he can take.

Cameron, Davis, and Eifert here.
