You could get the 2nd pick for the same price he wants for the 3rd *Guaranteed*PM me...Browns are shopping the 3rd pick to anyone below them in the top 12.

In that case I'll trade you the second for the third. You think they have the same value anyhow, right? You could get the 2nd pick for the same price he wants for the 3rd *Guaranteed*PM me...Browns are shopping the 3rd pick to anyone below them in the top 12.

I would like to have just 1 team per GM also and don't mind waiting..2 suggestions for discussion though:I really don't want to double up.
We are getting closer to filling.
We have 9 more to go.
Doubling up could create a number of problems.
Let's just hang in there a while and fill this Mock up.
Anyone have a issue with waiting?
We have 30 days to the real draft.
:rotflmao: Sorry dude... Guess I should have known you weren't going to like that...In that case I'll trade you the second for the third. He is an incredibly smart QB who has a deep love for the game. He has made very few mistakes over his college career and I fully expect that to transfer over to the NFL. He is a better athlete then most people give him credit for and has just a good an arm as Rodgers. His workout has really elevated him into this status. He seems to be the preferred favorite of scouts and at the end of the day I think the 49ers are going to have to take the guy that lead an offense over the guy who may have been a caretaker of one.QUICK STRENGTHS: mobile, smart, accurate QUICK WEAKNESSES: arm strength, system NFL COMPARISONS: Tall, and slightly lanky passer with decent mobility and good smarts. Reminds me a lot of Joey Harrington. The nephew of Michigan State coach John L. Smith, Alex came in and only played sparingly as a freshman. He earned the starting job partway through his sophomore year and turned in a great year. He had an even better year as a junior leading the Utes to an undefeated record and finishing in the top 5 of the Heisman voting. Smith has a lot of assets that will allow him to succeed at the NFL level, although he is probably not ready to step in right away. He has played in a spread offense where he operates primarily out of the shotgun. He has had to run a number of gadget plays and unusual plays that he won't see much in the pros. Physically, he has ideal height for the position. However, he is thin and needs to add bulk and get stronger as well. He shows decent mechanics. His footwork is solid, although he isn't used to having to drop back and read defenses while doing so. He has a good, over the top release, although he has a slight windup and his release isn't as quick as it could be. He does have great accuracy. He is especially accurate on short to intermediate routes. He has a decent deep ball, but he could still work on throwing the ball downfield. He does a great job of reading the blitz and finding open areas. His ability to see the field and anticipate is one of his biggest strengths. He has a great head for the position and makes good decisions. He has good mobility and can make plays outside of the pocket and downfield with his athleticism. He will occasionally force some passes into coverage while being pursued though. Whoever drafts Smith will have to be patient, he isn't an instant savior and may not be a franchise type QB, but he can definitely get the job done. He'll need time to learn a new system and to get a little bigger, but he is ideal from the neck up. How high he goes will depend on if the team drafting him is in a position to wait on him. He could go as high as top 5 or fall into the mid teens. Heading into the draft, the Chiefs have a few areas to address. The only area on offense, aside from age, was WR. Rod gives them a tool to stretch the field, and an immediate upgrade from Kennison, Morton, Horn, Parker, and Rchard Smith.TRADE ALERT
The Redskins Trade Rod Gardner to the Cheifs for their 4th (116) and a 2006 5th.
OZ to cofirm.
:rotflmao: Hasn't even arrived in Kansas City yet and you are already calling him a "tool".....Rod gives them a tool to stretch the field...
Peterson tends to insult players before they arrive, especially if they want a new contract.:rotflmao: Hasn't even arrived in Kansas City yet and you are already calling him a "tool".....Rod gives them a tool to stretch the field...
I have the 15, but not much to trade up with. If you want 06 picks, feel free to send an offer.I could also package Jerome Woods in the deal.William Green is on the trading block and Browns are looking to trade down either a little bit or as far as the 15th spot.
Looking for O linemen, DB's and WR's and possibly an RB in the trades. (S. Alexander is on our list.)
Isn't that a fantasy pick value calculator based on historical fantasy points scored at different points? The other link is the one used by NFL GM's when investigating draft pick trades I think.
Nice pick! This is who I would have grabbed had I been the Brownies.Cleveland Browns take Derrick Johnson - LB Texas.
Along with Braylon Edwards is the Best Player Available in my mind and fills a strong need with the team. Also looked at Edwards and the RB's and really wanted to trade down, but Derrick Johnson will help allow the Browns to succesfully transition to the 3-4 defense that Crennel is famous for.
One of the best workouts in the Combine cemented a steller college carreer as indicated below:

Senior All-American WLB Derrick Johnson is the anchor of the Longhorn defense and a favorite for the Butkus Award (nation's top LB) in 2004.
The only returnee from last year's Butkus Award finalists, Johnson is a two-time first-team All-Big 12 selection. As a junior, he posted a team-high 125 tackles and 20 TFLs en route to becoming Texas' first-ever Butkus Award finalist and its first consensus first-team All-American linebacker since Jeff Leiding in 1983. His four interceptions in 2003 tied the UT season record by a linebacker
Johnson became just the second player in UT history to earn a spot among the Butkus Award semifinalists as a sophomore after posting 120 tackles, 13 TFLs, four interceptions (T-No. 1 on UT's single-season interceptions by a LB list) and 10 pass breakups. He was The Sporting News' National Freshman of the Year and the Big 12 co-Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2001.
Johnson is the Longhorns' first two-time Playboy All-American since Johnnie Johnson in 1978-79.
Through three seasons, he has tallied 328 tackles (208 solo), 46 tackles for loss (T-No. 9 on the UT all-time list), 8.5 sacks, 29 QB pressures, 22 PBUs (a UT record for LBs), eight interceptions (T-No. 1 on UT's interceptions by a LB list) and six fumble recoveries (T-No. 7 on UT's career list) in 38 career games (28 starts).
I find it truly hard to believe that NFL GMs blindly use a calculator. You go for the needs of your team, based off of your projections, not some calculator saying a 3rd is worth a 4th and 5th.Isn't that a fantasy pick value calculator based on historical fantasy points scored at different points? The other link is the one used by NFL GM's when investigating draft pick trades I think.
even though his stock is supposedly falling. And it's who I would like to see the Chiefs move up for, but that's almost impossible.Nice pick! This is who I would have grabbed had I been the Brownies.Cleveland Browns take Derrick Johnson - LB Texas.

Just a rumor I've heard, I don't really by it, hence "supposedly".Why is Derrick's STOCK dropping?
He did very well at the combine and his pro-day.

He would not make a good MLB or SLB. He be great for WLB. Vikings are disappointed Johnson did not fall to them at 7.Just a rumor I've heard, I don't really by it, hence "supposedly".Why is Derrick's STOCK dropping?

They said the exact same thing about Terrell Suggs, I think he is working out ok though.People question his ability to run-stuff. His side-to-side speed is spectacular, but they're afraid he'll be manhandled at the LOS.
He'd make a phenomenal MLB, look at Ray Lewis's side to side quickness. I'm not saying DJ = Ray, but quickness is similar. He would not make a good MLB or SLB. He be great for WLB. The "Cheat Sheet" was became a common tool from Jimmy Johnson's use of it during his hay-days with the 'Boys. Now most GM's will consult it, though of course its only a general guideline.I find it truly hard to believe that NFL GMs blindly use a calculator. Is too big, fast and strong to press on a consistent basis. One of the aspects of his game that makes him so rare is his ability to get to top speed so quickly for a big receiver. Has exceptional size and adequate speed for his size. Is extremely smooth for his size. Gets in and out of his breaks without having to gear down too much. Shows smooth hips and tremendous body control for his size. Has long arms and big, strong hands. His overall ball skills are exceptional. He shows rare hand-eye coordination. Catches the ball away from his body and won't let it get into his pads. Is in the elite category when it comes to catching the ball over his shoulder in the vertical passing game. Can pluck and run with ease. Shows the consistent ability to adjust to the poorly thrown ball. Will make the tough catch in traffic. He's more explosive as a vertical route runner than he is as a runner after the catch, but he's still extremely difficult to defend. He plucks the ball very well on the run, which allows him to get upfield quickly after the catch. He shows a very strong and effective stiff arm. You must tackle him low in space in order to be successful.
How far are you willing to drop and what would it cost for PHI?I'm here & ready to pick if nothing gets done on the trade front. I'll give it about 30 minutes (need to check with somebody & also see if anybody else is interested).
