RIP Norm.... was probably my favorite comic. loved the Professor of logic joke https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oseqh7SMIvo
There's a lot of joy in this but a lot of sadness. I'd ask how you knew him, but don't want to really muck anything up unless you feel like sharing. My favorite thing about Norm was when he’d purposefully bomb sets just to make himself laugh. He was exactly the same in person as you’d see in interviews, with the same distinctive delivery and half smile. I’ve never met a funnier comedian or person, and he was a great guy, too. RIP, Norm.
It's my favorite joke of all time. This sucks.Ah, man. I knew something was wrong. His humor was very dark, even though his publicist says today he tried to hide his cancer diagnosis.
Greatest joke ever. RIP.
No worries, Rock. I won’t go back and forth to derail the thread, but I don’t mind. He worked for a long time with a close connection of mine. I met him when I was a teenager in the 90s, and was lucky enough to say he was a friend. There's a lot of joy in this but a lot of sadness. I'd ask how you knew him, but don't want to really muck anything up unless you feel like sharing.
I haven't watched it yet, but title suggests it's hereThe Peacock network runs episodes of SNL. On the Twitters someone suggested they run a compilation of all the OJ jokes that got Norm fired.
He did a great job on Sex and the City (very good show, especially early on in its run). He was also great in his limited role in There's Something About Mary ("You're a bleeping liar!"). R.I.P.Willie Garson of Sex in the City and White Collar

I had thought he was going to be our first black president- always respected the hell out of him. Covid related? So sad.(CNN)Colin Powell, the first Black US secretary of state whose leadership in several Republican administrations helped shape American foreign policy in the last years of the 20th century and the early years of the 21st, has died from complications from Covid-19, his family said on Facebook. He was 84.
Unfortunately it’s now en vogue for nobody to be popular with everyone but he seemed like a great guy who tried to serve his country and was respected by almost everyone (my observation which could be totally off base).I had thought he was going to be our first black president- always respected the hell out of him. Covid related? So sad.
RIP
Ah, bummer.RIP Paddy Moloney of the Chieftains.
He was fully vaccinated but also had a white blood cell cancer.I had thought he was going to be our first black president- always respected the hell out of him. Covid related? So sad.

I saw the recent Friends reunion and they did a Zoom check-in with him during the show. He looked really sick then and it was clear he didn't have much more time. RIP.Clown Car said:James Michael Tyler, Gunther on friends
