The Unsers are the Royal Family of Albuquerque. Bobby's the only one i met, at a reception decades ago where he was fronting for development of Albq's first suburb, Rio Rancho. He musta made some dough, cuz RR was about 40 Brooklyn refugees and a deli out there when i moved to NM and it has an Intel plant and 100,000 people now in a town completely owned & chartered at the beginning by one real estate company.

boys used to get soooo irritated that Feat were called Southern rock - three of em were Zappanauts from Hollywood High and Lowell's peeps were movie costumers. couldnt be more Cali....

Well I think we all can agree that their sig tune is 'pretty much' DIXIE Chicken and Lowell did where Overalls so the only thing missing is a, trailer park, jacked up pickup with a Confederate flag and shotgun racked in the back window, along with a banjo and a roothless and toothless yokel squealing like a pig to complete the trifecta.

and one of the original meta doods of home entertainment. comedians like Steve Martin and Bill Murray delighted in creating personalities specifically for talk show appearances, but Grodin was the first i'm aware of to resurrect a career by developing a specific talkshow personality that would get some water-cooler chat when folks did that. he toyed with being professionally irascible - tho actually a sweetie - on the Carson couch but, when Letterman came along and was seeking out genuine characters like Brother Theodore, Harvey Pekar & the immense Quentin Crisp to keep his program less of a star#### than other latenite fodder, he sought out and developed a specific comic chemistry with the actor. a Hero of Deconstruction, as well as the delightful character actor noted above. Ah man....just watched Beethoven 1 and 2 with the twins this year and they loved those movies. I had never seen them before but I enjoyed watching him in those quite a bit. Underrated actor. RIP.kodycutter said:
