According to some, the best rendition of The Star Spangled Banner ever. 3 octave range.
RIP Meatloaf.
RIP Meatloaf.
I thought I read Steinman past just this past Monday...Truly one of a kind. His muse Jim Steinman passed last year. As the Righteous Brothers used to say, if there’s a Rock & Roll Heaven, well you know they’ve got a hell of a band. RIP.
His name was Robert Paulson. RIPRIP Micheal Lee Aday better known as Meat Loaf.

Louis playing the mom on Baskets was gold
I think he did
Should have gotten an Emmy.
RIP Louie
RIP Christine Baskets
That's way more than 2 out of 3. Not bad.Meat Loaf once claimed that he was in 56 fantasy football leagues, and that he won 50 of them.
That's nothing. That nutball running North Korea would have won them all.Meat Loaf once claimed that he was in 56 fantasy football leagues, and that he won 50 of them.
I knew about him being in “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and his albums, but I didn’t know he was the lead singer on some of the songs on Ted Nugent’s “Free For All” album.RIP Micheal Lee Aday better known as Meat Loaf.

From Twitter:Comedian Louie Anderson, 68. Cancer
He was in an obvious high risk group.TMZ reporting Meat Loaf died of Covid
I once saw Louie Anderson at a casino in Las Vegas. He was with a very young and skinny male who looked......ummmm......uncomfortable.From Twitter:Comedian Louie Anderson, 68. Cancer
Louie Anderson once blew 80 grand, all his money, gambling in LA, then rented a car, drove to Vegas in the middle of the night and used a casino line of credit to win it all back in the pit by sunup, caught a 7am flight and went straight to shoot a 7-11 commercial.
and according to my wife... (no way I google this for that rabbit hole)... also anti-vax.TMZ reporting Meat Loaf died of Covid
"If I die, I die". Made his choices.TMZ reporting Meat Loaf died of Covid
Can't say I'm "pulling" for either, but if the OL play remains as poor as '21 either would likely be a better option than Rudolph. Better mobility/ability to throw on the move.
Neither are gonna make them a playoff contender though. May as well just use Haskins, honestly.

How'd my post about Steeler's draft end up being quoted in this thread? Can't say I'm "pulling" for either, but if the OL play remains as poor as '21 either would likely be a better option than Rudolph. Better mobility/ability to throw on the move.

I saw him in 1990 at a place called Pleasure Island in Lake Buena Vista, Florida (basically Orlando). He was so much fun, and as you said oozed of charisma on stage. He had such a wide range with his vocals too. He was a great singer."If I die, I die". Made his choices.
Off the charts performer. Just oozed charisma on stage. If its possible to sell 100 million albums and be under-appreciated, he was.
It happensCuz no one else has ever had multiple tabs open before in this place, huh?
Mea culpa, I guess.
Somehow I've missed that all this time. I would consider that among the very best renditions of all time, absolutely. I knew he could sing, but never followed him closely enough to know he could sing like that..According to some, the best rendition of The Star Spangled Banner ever. 3 octave range.
RIP Meatloaf.
"I'm more of a well-wisher....in that I don't wish you any PARTICULAR kind of harm."When the quote started off "I'm not pulling for either of them" I thought you were talking about Meat Loaf and Louie Anderson I thought it was kind of rude to say
OMG, I had no idea who she was. She was one incredibly beautiful woman.smokeshow
I saw him about 20 years ago and he was hilarious. He opened for someone, can't remember who, but Louie stole the show. A couple too many fat jokes though IMO. That part made me feel bad for him.I once saw Louie Anderson at a casino in Las Vegas. He was with a very young and skinny male who looked......ummmm......uncomfortable.

I saw Louie dining alone in a restaurant I used to work at back in the early 1990s. Evidently there was a specific dish he'd stop by for on his way to L.A. or something. He was wearing one of those Richie Sambora-style hats. I didn't try to bug him.I once saw Louie Anderson at a casino in Las Vegas. I just heard about this. My wife has several of his books and has taken a lot from his teachings. The International Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism announces that our beloved teacher Thich Nhat Hanh has passed away peacefully at Từ Hiếu Temple in Huế, Vietnam, at 00:00hrs on 22nd January, 2022, at the age of 95. We invite our global spiritual family to take a few moments to be still, to come back to our mindful breathing, as we together hold Thay in our hearts in peace and loving gratitude for all he has offered the world.
I watched the video of this story on an Opie episode, let me add a few details. From Twitter:
