First concert, Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Caught them at the gorgeous Red Rock outdoor Ampitheater in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies. Perfect, calm, 70-degree night, could see planes taking off in the far distance.
I was enthralled.
At one point during the evening they achieved absolute perfection when the entire place got so quiet you could hear a pin drop then they sang this tune.

From the concert I noted above when CSN was playing up in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, at one point Crosby quickly left the stage. Stills and Nash looked at each other baffled, Crosby appeared SUCKING on an oxygen mask as Stills and Nash looked and then began to mime a juggling act till Crosby regained his wind and came back on stage.
It was actually pretty funny and one of the highlights of the night as the crowd laughed.

This is typical of what I've been reading. It makes me tear up and I didn't even know Lin. From a friend who's in Poi Dog Pondering, who posted a picture and this:

"A beautiful late summer night last year, celebrating Brigid and Marc’s wedding. Lin was hilarious and sweet in his speech, of course, and he gave Expo a giant rousing intro, like he was bringing us on at the Aragon Ballroom, as we took to the stage for the party portion of the night. We hit some song (Switching To Glide? Starry Eyes? Rosalita?) that got him out on the dance floor, and off he went, his walker be damned; arms in the air, megawatt smile, shouting along. It’s a magical memory among many that he seemed to create simply by being in the room with you. Some nights were late, and the details are a tad blurry, but the warmth and happiness and humor and love are still blazing away. And how he made it to work the next morning is beyond me. Errant golfer, hippie philosopher, gourmand, a walking history of music, and the sweetest, most encouraging man imaginable. I love you, Lin."
