No you can't call death penalty supporters callous and also celebrate the death of someone else while assigning all kinds of labels to that person that are highly speculative.

I guess it would make a lot of sense if neo-Republicans think that expressing anger at someone is the same thing as celebrating.
so not being sad is = to celebrating? This has to be shtick, Ramblin Wreck indeed...No you can't call death penalty supporters callous and also celebrate the death of someone else while assigning all kinds of labels to that person that are highly speculative.
Okay Tim. You express that the world is better without one murderer but call someone else callous for supporting death penalty of other murderers you're a hypocrite. You either care about life or you don't. Carry on with your political garbage though.I guess it would make a lot of sense if neo-Republicans think that expressing anger at someone is the same thing as celebrating.
No. Really.Okay Tim. You express that the world is better without one murderer but call someone else callous for supporting death penalty of other murderers you're a hypocrite. You either care about life or you don't. Carry on with your political garbage though.
I believe he was calling someone callous for not caring about non-murderers getting the death penalty because of the error rate. Is that where we're hung up, here? We were discussing the fact that 100-120 people are probably waiting to be killed by the government despite not having committed the crime.Okay Tim. You express that the world is better without one murderer but call someone else callous for supporting death penalty of other murderers you're a hypocrite. You either care about life or you don't. How many innocent people do states execute?Okay Tim. You express that the world is better without one murderer but call someone else callous for supporting death penalty of other murderers you're a hypocrite. You either care about life or you don't. Carry on with your political garbage though.
Sorta like the anti-abortion while being pro- death penalty.Okay Tim. You express that the world is better without one murderer but call someone else callous for supporting death penalty of other murderers you're a hypocrite. You either care about life or you don't. Carry on with your political garbage though.
Seems more like being pro-punishment but anti-randomly killing people who have done nothing wrong.Sorta like the anti-abortion while being pro- death penalty.
These folks are no longer worth responding to. Plenty of people on the right side of the aisle who will converse in genuine conversation. It's not hypocrisy to want the death penalty abolished but not mourn the passing of a murderer.
Yeah weird to support killing babies but that's way off topic hereSeems more like being pro-punishment but anti-randomly killing people who have done nothing wrong.
I have no idea what you're trying to say here, so thank you for being consistent.Yeah weird to support killing babies but that's way off topic here

Don't be silly. I also make a lot of vulgar jokes about genitals and talk about the loss of crop biodiversity being a global concern. From a guy that lives here 24/7 just to argue politics I'm not surprised by this.
We need that one back up pronto, man. I know tons about that and think I can be of help.and talk about the loss of crop biodiversity being a global concern.
The thread about the failure of "make American great again" has morphed into that to some extent. We need that one back up pronto, man. I know tons about that and think I can be of help.

How often does a defendant of one race get the death penalty when another defendant of another race who committed a similar crime gets a lesser sentence?
$15 million is higher than I thought the recapture was, but yeah - I think it's been said that in Maryland if you die on appeal the verdict is vacated.Havnt read any of the last 4 pages
i heard since he died during a retrial or something? He's declared innocent so his daughter will receive a $15million patriots payout
More money for Odin Lloyd's family to recover from the estate.$15 million is higher than I thought the recapture was, but yeah - I think it's been said that in Maryland if you die on appeal the verdict is vacated.
I don't know. Try google. Or ask someone that is pushing the death penalty.
This article throws cold water on the idea the Pats would owe his estate any money$15 million is higher than I thought the recapture was, but yeah - I think it's been said that in Maryland if you die on appeal the verdict is vacated.
just depends on the language in the arbitration, I guess. Also, even if they DIDN'T have language in it, it would be a court case, and be settled for far less than the absolute number anyway. This article throws cold water on the idea the Pats would owe his estate any money

100-120 out 360,000,000 total people in United States is not bad. With the continual improvements with DNA the numbers will only get better.Henry Ford said:So, with about 2,500-3,000 people on death row at any given time... we have 100-120 people wrongly awaiting being killed by the government. It's pretty bad for the 100-120 people waiting to get murdered. That's 3-4 times as many Americans as were killed by terrorists in 2014.100-120 out 360,000,000 total people in United States is not bad. With the continual improvements with DNA the numbers will only get better.

no different than noting who his hetero lover is. Equal rights and all.Is it just me or is the idea that they outed Hernandez's prison lover outrageous?
So I get that the entire Aaron Hernandez was bisexual or homosexual makes for good tabloid fodder but I'm not quite sure why it's right we allow that to become a national story. Maybe it explains some kind of twisted motibe to why he killed Odin Lloyd but it just seems sensationalistic. I guess they protected his sexuality while he was alive as now it seems there were pretty rumors for some time. As far as I know they were never brought up in trial which may have given the prosecutors the motive . He certainly was a despicable human being and I would have been more than happy to see him rot in jail for life
We can debate the Hernandez thing but how about the NYDailyNews outing the guy who he wrote the letter to? He's serving time and likely a vile human but what about a right to privacy? What makes it ok for them to out this guy? Maybe he outed himself, his lawyers don't seem to deny it but still I'm or sure having his face plastered across a paper is right either
I understand what you are saying but if him being gay/bisexual was a motive for the murder (which, let's be honest, you can understand how a guy like Hernandez would be highly upset if that got out)...then I say it's fair game to be discussed. Is it just me or is the idea that they outed Hernandez's prison lover outrageous?

He said "Bad weekends". I think extrapolating that out to every weekend might be disingenuous. So there were over 2,600 homicides in Chicago last year?
2600 on death row isn't my issue. If they're guilty, I wish they were already dead. I'm talking about the innocent ones.So there were over 2,600 homicides in Chicago last year?

I spend every waking second worshipping the male fast-twitch muscle cell - the world's 2nd greatest creation - in a cathedral dedicated to the male fast-twitch muscle cell, among naught but other priests of the male fast-twitch muscle cell and those who worship them, with millions of adorers and the richest people in the world waiting to shower my male fast-twitch muscle cells with gelt & glory but, no......uh.......i dont real find the male fast-twitch muscle that attractive or....uh...anything......a player doesn't have to be injured to be on the dl ...

You said 100-120 people is two weekends in Chicago. 52 weeks a year works out to 2,600 people per year. I'm asking if that's what you're saying.2600 on death row isn't my issue. If they're guilty, I wish they were already dead. I'm talking about the innocent ones.
And of course we all dislike that. I also dislike innocent people being sentenced to death by the State. He said "Bad weekends". I think extrapolating that out to every weekend might be disingenuous.
That said... pretty sure it was a playful jab. Bad weekends in Chicago "Only" Have 50ish shootings and deaths in the mid-high teens. Only.![]()
