Dumping in public restrooms. Well, 'cept for emergencies.
 Yeah I wish I had the luxury of going home to poo. Oh wait, I'd have 2 kids banging on the door, one wanting me to play hide and seek with her and the other wanting the plunger to chase the dog with. No, I like my 5 minutes of quiet, being able to knock out some Words With Friends games... that is, until Grumpy McGruntsalot locks himself in the stall next to me and tries to push out a baby.

The stalls at my last office were sweet.... totally self-contained marble, real full sized doors. You could probably give birth in there and no one would know.

And  to this being my 1,000th post here. Post about poop. Fitting.

"Raising Awareness"

You're not raising awareness. You're trying to raise money. I think pretty much everyone is aware of breast cancer, prostate cancer, ALS, domestic abuse, and pretty much everything that's awful.

When was the last time someone said "Boy am I glad that guy's riding his bike. Without him, I wouldn't have known about ALS."?

Filing baseless legal challenges to a law trying to fix healthcare because a black guy passed it or whatever your insane reason is.

And, sure, Curt Menefee

Hipster millenials wearing dress shirts w/ top button undone and loosely tied-ties. Fashionable? Looks sloppy.
Is that really a hipster millennial thing? I don't think the word hipster means anything anymore.
Basically anyone who refers to themselves as one isn't actually one. The word can probably be expanded to anyone who tries to pretend that the thing they like is cooler than yours because fewer people like it.

Hipster is a negative term for white people. Instead of saying cracker or honky, people just say hipster. It's kind of like thug, but for white people.
I think honky is way far from hipster. I just think middle aged and older guys think nearly anyone under 35 that follows any kind of modern style is a hipster. It is probably similar to the 70s when any man with long hair or a tye dye shirt was called a hippie when in reality those things were just becoming part of the mainstream.

A consultant who recently began visiting our office fits this mold. He also wears dress pants with belt loops, but no belt. That drives me nuts. Is that a new thing?

No, it's an age old slob move. Hate it.
But he's not really a slob. He's more of the hipster mold. Are they doing this now?

Not that I'm aware of. Is he young? I think sometimes young people just don't know.

No idea, but it's a slob move.

He's young. He strikes me as the kind of guy that would/should know, but does it as part of his fashion. I just wasn't sure if he was a one-off or if it is a new thing.

I hope to god its not a new thing, but I have a bad feeling. It looks awful.

Google image search "loose tie". 90% of results are smarmy youngin's.
My bad, didn't see focus switched to the belt thing. That is sloppy no matter what age you are. Yikes.

One of our neighbors is a huge Susan G Kohman worshiper. I have to bite my tongue around her. I want to flat out tell her to raise money for a real charity, not that #### tier organization.

You're probably right. I was just making a white person joke.

lol

it's in style. chances are pics of something in style aren't going to be pics fat middle-aged or old guys. it's ok to not like style or trends... it's called being out of style.

I saw a lot of 40 and 50 year old actors as well. Also, young and trendy isn't hipster. That look is almost the antithesis of hipster.

Who knows. I worked with a guy, 22 and rigjt out of college. He was pretty well dressed for a 22 year old. He dressed better than most of my coworkers really, but never wore a belt. I never thought it was a fashion choice, but maybe I was wrong.

We have a couple of guys at work who on casual Fridays wear sweater vests with ties and skinny jeans. I've seriously thought about hitting their kneecaps with a ball peen hammer.

"News" programs showing clips from the Internet. C'mon guys, you're better than that.

That's not a good look at all.

it's better than "news" programs showing clips from other shows on their own network as "news".
Still better than local "news" being nothing but ads for local merchants.
which is better than "news" shows that come to your house and claim that you've been stalking teenagers at the swimming pool. I'm told.
