**AFC Divisional Round - Texans at Chiefs**(-8.5, 42) 4:30 on ABC (3 Viewers)

Chiefs should go for 2 here

Yes, they should. Make Demeco go for two if he wants to win a game. Chances are he plays for one and the tie if you miss your two-point conversion.
Feel like this is the next step teams will pick up on in the next few years. Ability to make it a 2 score game is underrated.
It is wild it doesn't happen more often. The math is so simple on it. Its way easier to get a 2pt conversion than another score. High reward/low risk.

I believe this officiating display is going to result in a big enough backlash to actively benefit the winner of the Ravens-Bills game next week with refs far more likely to keep flags in their pocket
I was thinking the exact same thing. The officiating is going to be a storyline coming out of this game.
Its a pretty big deal how much Aikman is harping on it, and the "rules expert" is agreeing with him.

My main social media feed is full of people complaining about the officials in this game, and none of those folks are "NFL" people. (I have lists for NFL and Bills people).

I know everyone says timeout, but I'm not sure. If you see something you like, you attack.

I don’t know. I think they needed a timeout with a second-year QB going up against a guy who disguises blitzes and has four or five rings as a DC. Spagnuolo might not be head coaching material, but he’s got the DC thing pretty dialed in. I wouldn’t want my guy rushing to the line with only five seconds. No time to diagnose where the other team is lining up.

TO. Right there. Get him to settle down and look at everything on the field.

The thing is though, this isn’t new. It happens every year and nothing changes. I doubt anything changes after this game.

You mean it happened BEFORE Taylor Swift??

From the AP:

Texans are 55th team since 1991 to outgain opposition by 100+ yards and commit 0 turnovers in 1st 3 quarters of a playoff game. They are the only one to be losing. The others had an average lead of 16.9 ppg at end of 3rd quarter

KC D is so good.
Mahomes to Kelce is still a thing.
Folks always hate winners.
I actually like the Chiefs.
I am a Giant fan, but it’s time folks give credit to Mahomes and crew. This team is going for a 3-Peat and it’s not due to the refs.

I don’t dislike the Chiefs at all. And I like both Mahomes and Kelce. But I do think there were some really bad calls in this game that influenced the outcome.

They’ve normalized it

We can give the Chiefs and Mahomes their due and also recognize that they've benefited from very friendly officiating. That's not their fault. It's just an acknowledgement.

Edit: Josh Allen gets friendly roughing calls. I see that and I have no problem acknowledging it. But good Lord. We probably got away with holding in the end zone against the Rams once. The Chiefs get calls like every quarter.
