All Harbaugh Superbowl? (1 Viewer)

San Francisco opens as 3.5 point favorites.
I was gonna guess 6
Looks like it's up to 5 in some shops.I'm buying BAL if it hits 7 (unlikely)... but will tease them to +11 regardless.
Bet 49ers all day. They will smash the Ravens. Ravens get lit up by running QBs. They lost to the Eagles this year. Now they are running into a very good all around team with a running QB.
 Vick was 10-34 on the ground.

The only shot the Ravens have is if they lay a wicked hit on Kapernick early and knock him out of the game. They are so physical it might happen. Otherwise, no.

Doesn't matter. They probably overcommited to containing Vick and spying him and allowed the rest of the offense to blow them up. That allowed Vick free reign to pass on their defense. They probably have no choice because they have to hide Ray Ray. You don't want Ray vs a running QB 1v1 out in space.

No.

I find it interesting how both of them had to make major changes to the offense mid stream. First you have CK taking over for Alex Smith sort of by accident or injury but obviously Harbaugh had been waiting for the opp to start him. And for Baltimore we find out Flacco felt he had very little say int he offense with Cameron as the OC so Harbaugh rolls the dice and fires Cam only to promote Jim Caldwell who I am no fan of but apparently he knows how to get out of the way of his QBs and Flacco has flourished with Caldwell calling the plays, it's pretty baffling to see a team fire their OC late in the season and then go on to the Super Bowl...I can't think of any but perhaps some of you can. Should be a tremendous build up to the Super Bowl, 2 head coaches at the top of their game, this is going to be fun to watch and despite them being cranky whiners on the sideline refs they are entertaining and innovative at times. I have a feeling the game will be pretty close, hard to imagine a blow out either way. I think the Ravens will prevail, seems like Ray Lewis is on some crazy mission of destiny as he leaves the NFL.

The Ravens defense is too old and slow to handle a running QB. They have to overcommit to take that dimension away. That leaves everything else open. They can still stop conventional attacks, but not the Pistol.

I'm not sure how exactly you are arriving at this conclusion. In looking through Baltimore's schedule, I see one opponent which runs anything remotely resembling a pistol attack... Washington's zone-read. And Griffin had a positively average day against the Ravens, both in the air and on the ground.

Don't have a brother?
Heh, I do. Good point. My guess is that their parents will get zero enjoyment out of the game while it's happening. I'm not a parent, but I suspect their stomachs will be in knots. It's probably natural to feel worse for the son who loses than happy for the son who wins.

this doesn't count but i remember it was looking like coughlin was going to be fired half way through the giants first superbowl season.im sure the 2000 ravens made some changes with their offense at some point. i remember they went a month or so without scoring an offensive TD.

Yeah, "some changes" were pretty significant. Hideous Tony Banks got benched in favor of Trent Dilfer, who played well.
