Ya, I don't think we can expect much of Stephen Alexander from here on out. Good call.Quick, drop S. Alexander for him.

I'm a Bills fan and even when TO was available the off-season that Phily signed him, I said I would never want him on the Bills because his athletic ability doesn't justify having to deal with the cancer he brings. The ONLY team he would be happy with is the same team who would put up with his crap...the Raiders. He'd do wonders for the confidence and development of Losman.I voted yes. Maybe if T.O. came to the Bills, we could actually throw deep? Evans, Owens, Moulds...![]()
Not that I believe Carl Peterson, but his answer "zero chance, zero, zero, the Eagles destroyed their team..." etc. when asked on the air this morning leads me to say this won't happen.Which team do you see him landing with? I personaly think it's going to be a team that surprises people, Kansas City being atop my list.
denver.I can't think of a team, that fits the requirements that I'm thinking of:
Good QB
Good Defense
Good RB
Okay WRs
Good Offensive line
Denver does seem like a good fit, now that you mention them.denver.I can't think of a team, that fits the requirements that I'm thinking of:

LOL. Is that guy even still playing?Ya, I don't think we can expect much of Stephen Alexander from here on out. Good call.Quick, drop S. Alexander for him.
yeah, cause Owens is less of a distraction than the other high profile WR they were forced to get rid of.Randy Moss left a huge void in the Vikings receiving corps. If Daunte wasn't injured I could see them making a run at Owens.
I'm guessing Moss doesn't seem so bad compared to the distractions they've faced this year without him.yeah, cause Owens is less of a distraction than the other high profile WR they were forced to get rid of.Randy Moss left a huge void in the Vikings receiving corps. Besides the one roid rage incident on a fellow teamate... Romo was a good player to have on your team.Hes a punk, but Id still rather have him that Darrell Russell or Bill Romanowski.
Tough to argue with logic such as this. Sure, OJ probably killed two people, and Sure -- Ty Cobb beat up a cripple, but TO has a bad attitude!I'll vote for TO. Totally self-absorbed ego maniac. Didn't kill or rape anybody, but he's just a total punk.
I have a quote (more like a monologue) from Chuck Knoblauch after the Yanks were eliminated by Arizona in the '01 WS that goes against the notion that he cared little for his teammates.Oh, and I hate Bill Romanowski with every ounce of my being. How about Rae Carruth?? Owens may be a vindictive little baby but I hate killers more.
As for a teammate I nominate either Chuck Knoblach or Jeff Kent. They were/are just as bad as Owens in the sense that they care only about themselves, ignore their teammates, and spite their fans. At least TO doesn't mind his fans and will celebrate with teammates and he did show some small respect for Rice. Nada from Knoblach or Kent. Only reason their unpleasantness isn't known is because they don't have the star power that Owens does and neither player, while each being very good, stood out significantly during a game.
I stand by my previous statement.Owens is so far ahead at this point, Moss is gonna have to murder a busload of handicapped kids to be a bigger ##### IMO.
"Zero zero zero, no chance. He's destroyed the Eagles this year, anyone taking him is destroying their team"-Carl Peterson, KC ChiefsI voted KC but I'm not too sure that'll happen.
I agree with this guy.I stand by my previous statement.Owens is so far ahead at this point, Moss is gonna have to murder a busload of handicapped kids to be a bigger ##### IMO.
Are you kidding? Deluded? With whom would he play? The Eagles? Have you been in a dark, remote cave the last 72 hours? I know you're a supporter of t.o. and all, but you don't have to have many more brain cells than t.o. does to figure out there's not a scintilla chance he'll be playing again in an Eagle uniform this year. Ergo, he won't be playing at all for the rest of the year. There's still a slight chance he could come back this year. I highly doubt it but if you've got the space it's not a horrible gamble.
I don't waste any emotional energy hating a guy like TO. I pity his sorry ### far more than I could ever hate the man. A product of our "Me Generation," just look what wealth- talent, money and fame -he is squandering. His loss far more than ours...Black Sox scandal guys?
OJ Simpson?
Tonya Harding?
Mike Tyson?
Ty Cobb?
Barry Bonds?
Cassius Clay/Ali (lots of old-timers hated him)?
Rickey Williams?
Kobe Bryant?
I'll vote for TO. Totally self-absorbed ego maniac. Didn't kill or rape anybody, but he's just a total punk. Have to respect his talent, but he's the worst "teammate" of all time.
Why can't the members of the national media just STOP putting microphones in front of him? If we just ignore him, he'd just fade away...
Yeah but when he was an athlete he was loved by all. He's hated long past his stardom for being a black man that got away with killing 2 white people. He doesn't really belong in the list. Comparing TO's actions to OJ is a real injustice that even TO doesn't deserve. If OJ, a man who clearly cut two peoples' head off and got away with it, is not the landslide winner here, this world has gone mad.
Tell it to the guy whose career Romo ended because he was juiced out of his gord.If we're talking about athletes who were hated while their careers were ongoing than TO may be near the top of the list. Obviously that would exclude O.J., who was a beloved figure during his playing career and probably Rose too, who a lot of people couldn't stand while he played but the hatred became much worse after he retired (and deservedly so; I've met him and he's just a despicable human being on a number of levels). Muhammad Ali was also hated by a large number of people during the 60s for his anti-war stance (a far more controversial issue than anything TO has done). So, he's no Juice or Carruth. But, he's worse than Romo, in my opinion. Romo wasn't a bad guy to have ON your team...he was just an ingrate for the rest of the league, and a bad representative of the NFL.
Tough to argue with logic such as this. Sure, OJ probably killed two people, and Sure -- Ty Cobb beat up a cripple, but TO has a bad attitude!I'll vote for TO. Totally self-absorbed ego maniac. Didn't kill or rape anybody, but he's just a total punk.![]()
This is kind of like comparing apples and oranges. TO can be the most loathsome athlete for his sports-related incidents based on the sportsmanship scale. And these guys who are criminal in their civilian life, non-sports-related, ARE worse overall than TO on a humanity scale. As long as you don't differentiate the two then you can't really make a good comparasin. Just my .02.TO is fun to hate, and he's a ####, but there are literally hundreds of worse sports figures out there. I hate every single NFL player who gets caught beating his girlfriend/wife (I'm talking to YOU, Ahman Green/Michael Pittman/Randy McMichael ect.) waaaaayyy more than a guy like TO.
Well, half the guys you mention could easily be gone to retirement and/or trades by next season. Plus, I've learned to trust nothing that Peterson tells the media. He'll do whatever he can to get the upperhand in a negotiation. I don't know how many times I heard the Surtain trade was never going to happen and then, boom, he was a Chief. Also, yes, Vermeil likes to play daddy to troubled individuals. He just might like the idea of teaching TO how to cry. Ya never know. Why do people think KC? Because Vermeil drafted L. Phillips?
You tell me how you think Terry fits with this group?
Gonzalez
Roaf
Shields
Green
Richardson
Kennison
Hall
heck.....Priest
Half of thsoe men are CHristians, and I know that there is no way ever that a guy of Terry's character will EVER see a Cheifs uniform under Vermeil's watch. Carl Peterson learned his lesson with the mutiny in 1998. Remember the Monday Night Meltdown? Peterson has obviously changed. The times of Dale Carter, Andre Rison, Wayne Simmons, Tamarick Vanover, Bam Morris, and others of that kind in KC are over.
Think about this: If Larry Johnson's whining has caused such a stir, how do you think Terry's antics would go over in this city?
Like OZ said, now way he comes here.
You might have had a tough time finding anyone more hated than Ty Cobb.
