Just saw this (for what it's worth)...Celtics player Avery Bradley had a shoulder that kept popping out until surgery.I cut bait. Good friend of mine torn his labrum twice, he explained to be about the injury and said he was told that rest/rehab is not really an option with this kind of injury. Without surgically repairing the labrum the shoulder will continue to pop out.I cut him last week, he wasn't doing much for me in my td heavy league anyway.
On the other hand, we're in the same league together... so maybe he was playing me.![]()
Anyway, he convinced me that Martin is done for 2013.
(RotoWire) The Buccaneers are unsure of when Martin (shoulder) might return to the field, ESPN.com reports. Analysis: Martin's injury can't be repaired without surgery, so the issue is whether to put the surgery off until the offseason, or to go under the knife prior to this season's conclusion. The Buccaneers clearly have nothing to play for, so it's hard to form an argument for why Martin shouldn't undergo the surgery now, affording him extra time to get to full health prior to 2014. Hopefully a decision can be reached in the near future so that Martin owners can plan accordingly.
