A couple things

1. Being a Commish is tough. I Commish a few leagues including a dyansty league with sevral regular FBG posters and I can tell you the pressure to do right is intense.

2. The season has just ended and I have played in leagues where the checks didn't go out until the Super Bowl. A lot of times right after the FF season is over, owners like to relax and focus on the NFL playoffs. It sounds like people were wanting their checks right after Philly was done with that Tuesday night game. Christmas and New Years just passed. You all are doing permanent damage to the leagues meaning if he pops up in the next week and cuts the checks I'm not sure these leagues can continue.

Is the money that much? I feel like whoever the $500 winner was has already spent the money and needs it immediately. Technically the money should go out shortly after the season ends. I also think anytime the checks go out in January is fine. I have a league where I am waiting for roughly a few hundred bucks to come back to me...but I know the commish well and I'm sure I'll see that check in the next couple weeks. Not a big deal.

What if he had emailed back and said he wouldn't be sending the checks out until mid to late January? You probably would have been mad about that too.

Not defending Frank but I have competed with him and I never saw anything that would lead me to believe he was working this place for the last 3-4 years for the "big score". And others said his teams are set up to compete for the next many years. Traded duds for studs, sounds like he is a great owner. I think this thread should have waited at least another week...and I bet he does answer you all back soon and you are going to look foolish.

Its funny that the govt considers ffootball a game of skill and not gambling when you are throwing hundreds of dollars up front to win more money... sounds pretty much like gambling. Obviously nothing is funny with owners losing money Johnny U im one of them, so Would I be laughing at myself... get with the program people we need to do more positive reinforcing things to bring the owner to justice for the frauds he has committed... this whole board was designed to get all the people that are in franks leagues together to discuss ways, means that we can go further with what has to be done...

He did some research and shared some code with me that would automatically generate the playoff scenarios for any league. Seems like he was actively trying to improve the leagues he runs.

He got those teams by stacking teams.... pretty easy concept.... An owner drops out, or when my dad died we had to fill a void.... take over a few teams in a few diff leagues and let the trading begin.... you would be amazed at what a couple of trades can do for franchises.....

You're right, I'm just lying to myself.You know, I didn't want to believe that he played two teams and pulled lopsided trades. Then when I saw the proof it was too obvious. He always logged into each account at the exact same time in each league, and the trades always went in favor of his main team. He could have done a better job hiding his tracks.Knowing this I was planning on leaving his leagues this off season, others too were planning to leave his leagues. I bet he knew his leagues were going to the crapper next year, and decided to bail on them.

If I claim someone of being a thief, I usually have some pretty damning evidence.... I think we all proved our point beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was a cheater, bailed on his leagues and ran with the money that he didn't deserve to win in the first place.... shame on him

He also responded in email with (dynastychamp@comcast.net). If anyone has an original email from him if you check the message header you can get the IP address that was used to send the email. If the header is read right you can get the date and time it was sent and with further investigation find the computer from where it was sent. This is all in a legal process. Most servers by law have to keep records for 7 years.

I think you all made a huge mistake going for the throat so early and whatever hole he was going down you only pushed him down further. Someone should have gotten his address and paid him a friendly visit if he owed that much money. But even if you guys knew where he lived you probably would show up with baseball bats and get yourself arrested rather than calmly dealing with it.

And T and T, I know you were given a vacation in the preseason this year. You are all over the map including trying to sell your teams in these leagues. IMO your just as guilty and grimey as Frank. And now you want to Commish a couple dyansty leagues? I can't imagine anyone forking their money over to you. That's the first time I've ever seen someone actually thank god for one's own self...............LOL.

Look whether or not Frank owned multiple teams in each league is not only circumstantial but it's also pretty irrelevant now. Bottom line here is Frank has not responded to numerous phone calls or emails. Just before the FF playoffs started he apparently told "T with T" in an email that it would be "tricky" to keep these leagues going. When you factor that in with his absence in every league and his phone now being disconnected, it's pretty obvious that this is another train wreck with a vanishing commissioner. There is zero reason to bicker amongst ourselves in this thread looking to prove irrelevant points or gain vindication. What's done is done.

The question now is whether all the owners that are currently owed money from Frank's leagues band together and look into pursuing legal action. I really don't know if that is a valid option or simply wishful thinking.

In league that Frank ran. Owes me $350 in winnings plush $25 I put towards next year. Also owes another team $200, and at least 4 people $25. Called phone # and it was disconnected. The area code was for Maryland. I would suggest filing a complaint with MFL or whatever site your league was in and also with PayPal. Make sure to use full name(Neville Frank Gibson). There was some questionable trades in our league to. I will say though I traded with him 5 or 6 times and he was fair with me. This just seems strange. He seemed he was setting up teams to play for years and contacted me up till playoffs about getting guys off IR, so was running like he would be back.

Not sure but it could be up to $15,000 in payouts that are missing. That sounds like fraud at least. If anybody has friends in law please ask what options are.

don't think this helps but i found this strangemy first year i played FF i joined a "quest fantasy football" league (commercial site). the second year (2009 season) i decided to buy an unclaimed dynasty team. they ran around 100 leagues so there were a lot of options. mostly all terrible teams that owners gave up on but i kept seeing a lot of teams for sale with the name "WAHOOS (#)" either the owner name frank gibson. his teams were REALLY good, most of them were sold in the first day. i managed to purchase one of his "lesser" teams that were not sold yet^^that's too good of a team to just give up on, and that was one of his lesser teams. he gave up several better teams than this

just brainstorming here but maybe none of his payments went through and quest put up all of his teams for sale the following year?

Thats the craziest part. His teams are Young STACKED TEAMS he could have easily cashed in the leagues im in with him for at least the next 3-4 years without doing anything.

Hey rex this is TWT im in about 10 of franks wahoo leagues and I think he has Multiple teams as well as running away with the money and he needs to be stopped... Im willing to commish these leagues if MFL can give up the passwords... I dont think anyone should give this POS another dime.... He has been trading bums for studs for a few years... ever since my dad TOM JAMES died in 08 and frank took over the leagues he has been shady... Mass mauraders, pigskin pirates, big d, and other teams are suspected to be his.... I hope we can resolve this I have been in these leagues since 2006 since the beginning and this really upsets me, my dad would be upset the most because he ran a tight ship and was always honest.... well hope we can resolve this guys thanks for your support, sent you an email rex and glad to hear someone wants to do something about it?

T and T I was in AC/DC league when your dad started it. Communicated with him on phone, IM, and email and really seemed to be a stand up guy.

And just to those that want to keep name bashing me, go right ahead. I posted my opinion on it a week to 10 days ago. I think you all made a huge mistake going for the throat so early and whatever hole he was going down you only pushed him down further. Someone should have gotten his address and paid him a friendly visit if he owed that much money. But even if you guys knew where he lived you probably would show up with baseball bats and get yourself arrested rather than calmly dealing with it.

Thank you My friend.... i appreciate that... this thread was becoming a bashing of honest guys who got cheated... I feel bad for every single one of us... this isn't about me... Im disappointed and I thought he would stay to... even though I seen questionable trades he won in almost all his leagues I thought he would want to play... he would have made more money to just pay off winners and keep winning money every year... anyways... thanks for help and yes if someone is in law or can help us get the league commish passwords at the least so we can run the leagues that would be wonderful.... I know its hard to trust people but being commish is not that hard.... honesty is the best policy

thats awesome man.. yea he died in 08 and ever since frank has been running teams the trades are shady between these ghost teams... but yea its just a lose lose sit and Im very upset to say the least the way things were handled with all of the teams, money, fake friendships.... well to think he even sent me flowers for my dad passing... had the nerve to do that .... wow thats a slimey little thing also update BIG D... if anyone is in leagues with wahoo or big d... Big d is like a relative of frank gibson... i think thats his brother in law.... they would always stack each others teams and have threeways with pigskin and mass maurader and kick a#@ ........... these guys have been exposed

I have allot more information on Frank that im not yet ready to make public.

I Have several nubers of his family members His address and his family members addy's.

I spoke with a family member of Frank's yesterday he assured me it was a misunderstanding. He said he would call Frank at work and have him call me right away. I have not recieved a call yet.

I also called either his sister or mother. They run a salon out of thier home. I told the lady that I strongly encourage her to have Frank call me. She said she would call him and pass the message on.

I am real close to tracking down where he works and getting his work number amongst other things.
