Plaxico Burress' status for Week 13 is reportedly uncertain due to knee and ankle injuries.

The Giants' local papers usually expect Burress to play on Sundays despite sitting out practice during the week, but that's changed now due to the added knee ailment. Plax was taken to the city Wednesday to have the injuries looked at by doctors. At best, it appears he'll be a game-day decision against the Bears, as there's virtually no chance of him practicing this week. Nov. 29 - 1:13 pm et

Why didnt the Giants just sit him for a few weeks early in the season??

Will he play just like he has every week this season?

I know he made the trip, but Jacobs, Gibril Wilson, Ross and Steve Smith did not. With Smith not going I would expect Plax to go out there and gut it out...again.

Now, Burress’ production has not only slipped — he has scored and topped 50 yards just once in his last five efforts – but he’s also dealing with a knee injury that forced him to seek a specialist this week. Last season, the Bears let CB Charles Tillman shadow Plax man-to-man, and the veteran corner held him to just 48 yards on four catches.

I am in a unique situation in that it is a TD only league. Not many of them left I don't suppose. Don't care if he only catches 3 if one or two are TD's
