Anyone Benching Brady tonight? (1 Viewer)

Starting Schaub over Brady
I'd be careful chasing stats here. Being down 28-7 going into the half felt fluky to me. I don't expect Schaub to have to throw as much vs. TEN at home.
Thank God I went with my understanding of the situation than following the sheep here. This was expected tonight .... TNF has been horrible for passing Ff stats anyways....add in the horrible supporting cast; a stout D; a bad O against Brady not requiring him to throw to win and the writing was on the wall.

All those who started Brady hopefully learner their lessons. Think for yourselves and "never bench ur studs does not always apply"

I'm more concerned with the "experts" analysis of players. ALL the signs where there that Brady wasn't going to have a good week. But group think was that Brady is Brady, so lets rank him a QB1.

Did any Expert rank him outside the top 20 this week? cause that's where he is likely to finish. I get that predictions aren't science, but this week was a clear sign of laziness on their part.
Berry had the lowest I saw at 6th.
Pat at Rotoworld ranked him 8th. but at least addressed that its a "generous" ranking due to name value.
Football Sharks ranked him 14th. They're not shy about making some "out of the box" calls now and then--this one they got right.

Right now Tom Brady is calling Aaron Hernandez with a list of his Wide Receivers to kill................Dobson and Thompkins would off themselves but they would probably drop the gun.

I played vs Brady this week......so Im pleased.

THat's pretty funny.

All in all, I wouldn't finger point to either of the rookie WRs so much. I think they are both better than they showed last night. This is just a team going through an amazing amount of change and the Patriots are showing for once that they aren't impervious to outside effects. They are struggling to adapt and, to be honest, even though it looks bad when you consider what you come to expect from the Patriots, I think they are doing a better job than what most other teams would. If this were the Steelers without their TE, WR, and RB, how would they look...oh wait, just watch their WEEK 1 game.

They are 2-0, afterall, and just like everyone in the forums, the Patriots don't care about your ff team (or mine either). It's an ugly duckling right now but they have the coaching, they have the HOF QB, and all the other stuff. They will improve, in both real life and ff. There is just some patience required.

Forgetting about fantasy for a minute, like you said no one cares about your fantasy team or mine. The Patriots are 2-0. Having to come back to beat Buffalo and the Jets. Let that sink in for a moment. They eeked out wins over 2 of the doormats of the NFL. We don't have a true barameter of where they are at until they face a true challenge. Don't let the 2-0 record be a mirage for not jumping off the ledge. Brady as a fantasy QB will be fine I believe once Gronk gets back, but the camelot era of Tom Brady's Patriots is likely already in the rearview mirror.

Sigmund Bloom had Brady outside his top 15 this week and told everyone on twitter to look for better options.

Almost have to consider your other options next week, no? In one league, I don't even have a backup for him. Uh oh...

Both Rivers and Pryor are available, not sure who to pickup....

I'm benching him next week and going with Dalton against Green Bay. Will probably ditch him in Gridiron Challenge as well.
