Anyone else trying to buy Mathews? (1 Viewer)

So I have seen plenty of threads on here about Mathews and how people are trying to get rid of him. Anybody trying to buy Mathews in a dynasty league for the potential of a huge year next year once they properly utilize him? I mean he is only 25 years old but does come with the injury concern.

A few weeks ago, I picked him up for a 2013 1st (prob 8-11). With a (possibly) new coaching staff, who knows what happens next season.

I was actually one of these knuckleheads trying to buy him but, surpisingly, the owner still values him a great deal.

Mathews owners are as delusional about his value as J-Stew owners are. Perception does not coincide with reality. I'll buy Mathews if offered to me at the right price, but it's a deep discount to what Mathews owners think he's worth.

This is Matthews third season...RBs age in dog years so he is what he is. Can`t expect anything more that what he has shown already..some good games here and there..some really bad games. Not much goal line love and some injuries. If you can trade him for anything of value I would.

It's amazing how much people love Matthews in the leagues I'm in. He's about a half a point per game ahead of the likes of Joique Bell and Danny Woodhead, and the people who have him seem to value him at a Charles or CJ kind of level. It was actually easier for me to acquire McCoy at a fair value than Matthews in my main league.

No way I'm buying in either redraft or leagues where you have a limited number of keepers and/or an escalating price.
