Anyone ever try this solution to misbalanced draft order value (1 Viewer)

We're heading into the 10th year of our redraft league and it seems there are two or three of us who have been perenially placed at the end of the draft selection order. The order is determined every year by random draw.

This year after getting the 9th pick out of 10 (10th last year, 9th the year before and 9th the year before that), I suggested the following rule change...

Starting next year we inverse the order of the prior year and then do a new draw every other year.

I understand the concept that via random draw, a normal distribution will even out the pick positioning over time, but the problem with that idea is that it takes a large sample. We could do it this way for the next 50 years and not get a large enough sample.

Yet this solution would instantly fix this disparity IMO.

So far the reception from leaguemates has been luke warm. I'm curious to see what you guys think. Would you vote yay or nay to this if suggested in your redraft league?
