no chance of that. He'd be personally (stats) much better off with Bradford than Favre and the Rams have a fair chance of making the playoffs. Like him or not, Moss isn't a fool.I think if a team like STL claims him he might not show up.
Isn't this the guy who hit a woman with a car and stated publicly that bs only plays when he wants to? Oh and is now going on his 3rd team in one year....and he's NOT a fool??no chance of that. He'd be personally (stats) much better off with Bradford than Favre and the Rams have a fair chance of making the playoffs. Why?I think if a team like STL claims him he might not show up.
You think the trade or waiver show he's a fool? I wouldn't shave or play with Favre either.Isn't this the guy who hit a woman with a car and stated publicly that bs only plays when he wants to? just seems like something he would do. I think he wants back in NE. If a non-Superbowl contender snags him he might pull some shaddy stuffWhy?I think if a team like STL claims him he might not show up.
He doesn't seem like a player Jerry Richardson would want on his team. He won't save their season this year either.Because he will go to Carolina who has a higher waiver priority than St. Louis.
Ever exaggerate? First, he didn't "hit" her. She stood in front of his car; he was going about as slow as you can drive a car. Second, the "woman" was a meter maid trying to act tough. Say what you like but there are two sides to this story and he never faced any criminal charges, which tells you that there is more to it than what you suggest.Isn't this the guy who hit a woman with a car and stated publicly that bs only plays when he wants to? I would think a team that at least thinks it is contending would rather claim Moss via waivers and pay him for the rest of the season and see how it works out. If Moss does not get claimed teams will probably have to negotiate a long term deal to get him to sign. I suspect if he gets waived he will be claimed by a contending for playoff team taking a look for the remainder of the season.Moss goes to a new team and after a couple of weeks is shuflfing around the field not putting out a full efflrt, publicly mocks the coach and coaching staff, and then flagrantly violates a team rule - forcing the team to either get rid of him or forgive the violation and bad mouthing at the same time (thus agreeing that Moss can do whatever he wants whenever he wants and destroying what little respect and hold the coach still has on the rest of the team). All-time talent, but do you want to be his next coach? I'll guess that no team before NE (if even NE - I'm not sure they want him back or why trade him away) will take teh waiver chance without knowing what attitude comes with the 3 mil tab. If teams get to talk with him as a free agent (or maybe as a trade candidate from the Viks) perhaps he can convince someone he will be a good citizen. Without that, I think the risk is too high.
They're a potential playoff team. That's ridiculous.I think if a team like STL claims him he might not show up.
TRADE DEADLINE HAS PASSEDcan a team claim him and then trade him? maybe Minnesota is trying to trade him right now?also, from what i understood, the team that claims him will only be on the hook for the prorated portion of his contract for the rest of the season, somewhere around 1.6 million. doesn't sound like much of an investment to me for a team that's trying to make a push for the playoffs, especially in an uncapped year.
this is true. carolina doesn;t like good players and when they do accidently get a couple, they have no idea how to use them.He doesn't seem like a player Jerry Richardson would want on his team. He won't save their season this year either.Because he will go to Carolina who has a higher waiver priority than St. Louis.

hah, yeah I thought that was funny/odd:who caters for the Rams? Key decision point with Moss on the roster...
Say he does go to the Rams, what impact does he have on Bradford and more importantly SJax? Gotta be good, I'm assuming. Just wondering where people see things shaking out if Moss does end up there. Could Jackson score more than 4 TD's this year?Minnesota Vikings WR Randy Moss, who is expected to be waived Tuesday, Nov. 2, may have alienated some teammates when he roundly criticized a post-practice meal in front of the local restaurant owners who catered it, reports Michael Silver, of Yahoo! Sports. Every Friday, the Vikings invite a local establishment to cater the team's post-practice meal. Last week, it was C Matt Birk's turn to pick the eatery, and he chose a St. Paul restaurant that served chicken, pasta, ribs and other dishes. While his teammates lined up to dig in, Moss lashed out. 'What the (expletive)? Who ordered this crap? I wouldn't feed this to my dog,' a player who witnessed the incident said. The player who witnessed Moss' food tirade called it 'an uncomfortable moment,' adding that he felt Moss deserved to be cut after the incident.
Clifford said:Two players have hit waivers already and still no mention of Moss hitting waivers. For that matter, I haven't heard a peep from anyone even close to the Vikes today.
Fox Sports' Alex Marvez reports the Vikings have officially waived Randy Moss.It will be interesting to see if he gets claimed in light of reports about his locker-room outburst last Friday. Our guess is that at least one team will take the leap, figuring it was just "Randy being Randy." Several beat writers noted that the incident wasn't even unusual for Moss. "Randy being an #####" is a big file, explains Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities.

Washington is almost as much of a mess as Minn. As an owner I hope to god he doesn't end up there.from a fantasy perspective, where is the BEST place he could land? I think San Diego, Washington, and St Louis would all provide pretty decent stats for him.
Best??Colts, hands downfrom a fantasy perspective, where is the BEST place he could land? I think San Diego, Washington, and St Louis would all provide pretty decent stats for him.
Obviously with Peyton he'd be back to elite status but I doubt Peyton would want him.New Orleans or Tennessee are slightly more likely and could be great.Best??Colts, hands downfrom a fantasy perspective, where is the BEST place he could land? So was Minnesota. While he showed up, he clearly didn't give 100%.Otis said:They're a potential playoff team. That's ridiculous.bicycle_seat_sniffer said:I think if a team like STL claims him he might not show up.
Best spot to land is NE. Not really close. He's a borderline WR3/4 in any of those spots for this year. (Not any different than MN)from a fantasy perspective, where is the BEST place he could land? I think San Diego, Washington, and St Louis would all provide pretty decent stats for him.
NE is the best because they have more to cover. While, SD STL and WASH he opens up other receivers.Best spot to land is NE. Not really close.
