I tried out the COD Battle Royals game today. Oof, that game suuuucks. It’s like PUBG, but not nearly as fun. Back to Apex for me.

 
Alright, pulled up the crosshair thing. Definitely digging it. Trying to figure which settings to use. Just have it on FPS settings right now

That's all we have, + the fact that the Xbox detected a monitor like that and auto adjusted for it.   

I can't seem to find much else that has suggested settings for all the other #### that comes up on the menu.  

You like the look/graphics of the monitor though??

 
Shredding pretty good on the new monitor earlier. Now that I can hit body shots consistently, I'll start focusing on the head more.  Finished 2nd in one game and took down 2 of the last 3 opponents. Sadly, my teammates couldn't take down the other.

… As Gibby.   He has been practicing as him for their tournament (130 kills in 3 days) and swears by having him or Wattson on the team.  

 
Looking at S5 rumors.  One that keeps popping up is cross platform.  If true, that could really up the frustration level if they don't figure out a better way to do their matchmaking.  

Also see Loba as the new character - being a bit like a Lifeline/support character, and something about a rapid fire SMG that uses Energy Ammo.

Tuesday, April 28 @ 10am PDT  - Saturday, May 2nd @ 10am PDT: Level 1 (White) armor only.  

Saturday, May 2 @ 10:01 am PDT - Wednesday, May 6 @ 10am PDT: Level 2 (Blue) armor

Wednesday, May 6 @ 10:01am PDT - Saturday, May 9 @ 10am PDT: Level 3 (Purple) armor. We expect to see some drawn out fights as everyone drops with some of the best armor in the game.  

Saturday, May 9 @ 10:01 am PDT - Tuesday, May 12th @ 10am PDT (when Season 5 kicks off): Evo Armor only. Players have been asking for this since we introduced the concept of Evo Armor, so we’re particularly excited to see how this unfolds. And if you want a pro-tip from me: get in fights early, or you’ll be left limping into the final circle with Level 1 armor! We’re also turning on double Level XP for Top 5 finishes across all modes during this phase"

 
Looks like some Season 5 leaks and info are getting out there.

If true, the new character has:

  • Burglar's Best Friend: Throw a disc and teleport to that location.
  • Supply for Demand [passive]: Hold [button] to choose a type of loot. Reveal that type of loot in the area around you through walls.
  • Black Market Boutique: Place a device that can steal all enemy loot.
  • Eye for Quality [passive]: Loba can see nearby loot through walls and can open up hidden compartments in loot bins.


The other that I am interested in is:

5) Class Passives: Apex Legends features four classes for Offensive, Defensive, Support and Recon. Leaks from last month make that facet more interesting, as evidence for so-called Class Passives has emerged. This means all characters in a given class get a special Passive Ability. Here are the abilities we know so far.

  • Support [Lifeline, Loba?]: Find extra supplies inside blue supply bins.
  • Recon [Bloodhound, Crypto, Pathfinder]: Scan the Survey Beacons littered on the map to reveal the next circle's location.
  • Defensive [Gibraltar, Caustic, Wattson]: Restore Shields to revived squadmates.
  • Offensive [Wraith, Mirage, Octane, Revenant]: Two special inventory slots for grenades.
This sounds like a complex feature so we could see it being bumped from Season 5, but the data strings suggest key details are being filled in.

IF they could do that one, I like the idea of some of those and could make for a wider variety of squad makeups.   I think the support ones are weak unless they beef up what is in the secondary compartment.  Mostly now it's just extra syringes.  

 
Again, this is probably a little bit of rumor and speculation, but it's by far the most specific article I've seen so far of what might be coming up.  

 
Played one game with Gibby today and got my all time damage record with Gibby for 1400.  Revived guys 5 times in my shield and got the win. Maybe there is something to it. 

 
Evidently Saturday am is the time to play for me.  Used non-main account and mostly had people in my range and worse.  Tried same last night and right away was a bunch of 5k kill+ players.
