Another win for Dad Squad!  And our teammate didn't have to carry us!

None for me tonight.  Being sent to bed early by the family - had a slight fever today, and our family walk took me out for a couple hours and I needed a nap after.

Good luck to Dad Squad tonight - make it 4 in a row!

Moved the 50 inch TV in game room to the bedroom and 40 inch TV into the game room for Xbox. Picture is just better on smaller TVs or monitors when gaming.

Somebody at worked claimed this too.  Said that it was easier to game on a smaller screen.  I guess it makes sense that you might overcorrect on a controller for a 80" screen vs. a 40" screen.   We have a 65" in the living room that we game on.   I will add that to my mental list of excuses. ;)   I do wonder if on a bigger screen if it is even more important to have the sensitivity up higher for quicker movements - or would it be the opposite?

Gotta think all the big gamers are pc guys and play on no bigger than 24 inch monitors. Would make sense that even console gaming would be somewhat similar.

I guess.   I figured most would be on PC b/c it's better aim with mouse and easier to stream.  Maybe there is something to this.

Nothing else - now I have a reason just to get the kid a small TV for the consoles to free up the big TV for me at night!!

I am going to be on for a little bit, but need to get sleep again, so no drunken 2am Dad Squading.

The teen said he THINKS he fixed my settings so it should show me online/home.

FPS gaming should def not be done on a big screen.  Your eyes can only move so fast, plus resolution, refresh rate, and response time matters and most big screens don’t have good stats on that.  I’m currently using a 27 inch monitor and I find that size optimal (my refresh rate and resolution are limited by my gen 1 xbox).

Started playing again last two nights (on pretty late due to personal isssues).  I’ve been surprisingly not awful racking up 3 wins in less than 20 games, many of which were quite inebriated.   Even worked in a 9 kill game at some point.   I suspect the competition in this game for casual may have gotten a touch easier.

Hope all is going well up there, GB.

Never would have thought having a big screen would be a negative thing!

This is exactly right. Went from a much more expensive but larger  TV to an older but smaller one and I'm hitting way more shots. Still around 38 inch screen but better. Will probably invest in a 24 inch monitor eventually.

Alright, despite the eye roll from the wife, I kidnapped the 33" from the bedroom and put it in a corner if the living room.  Logging on now!!
