Good episode. I could be wrong, but the animation looked better than I remember. The animation in those car chases was killer. At some points it looked like a mix of animation and photography.
Wait, was that the same footage?
Bah! I forgot about that line. Classic H Jon Benjamin.

The boobs look smaller this season.

I just plowed through all the seasons and like others said, how did I miss this? Funniest thing since Arrested Development. But I missed last week's episode. Do I need to see it before this week's? It's being replayed at 9:30 Thursday, after S4E2 but I don't want to wait an extra 2.5 hours to watch more...

I wouldn't worry about keeping them in order.

There was an occasional carryover pairing, like when he meets Katya, so I was just checking. Thanks

Ray: You're taking me out of the field?

Malory: Well unless we need someone to go undercover as a shopping cart.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Uh sorry I gotta get back to Earth before the stargate closes"

"Get back in here!"

"Mother the chevrons are locking!"

:lmao:

The first 5 minutes of last night - before the first commerical - was the funniest 5 minutes of television I have seen in a long time. The rest of the episode wasn't spectacular, but it was Archer solid. But that first five minutes. Simply unbelievably outstanding.

"It's like seeing the face of God."

Its funny I felt the same. After the opening it kind of tapered off into predictable Archerisms. Still funny but not bust a gut funny like the rest of the season has been so far.

The animation seemed really bad this past episode, especially the car stuff. I've never thought the animation was bad before, and maybe it was the fruity pebbles treat from the dispensary, but it looked like Scooby Doo era work. So farm this season 3.5 (or whatever it's called) hasn't lived up to the lofty standards it set in previous seasons.

I think they were going for something with the car race/chase animation. Did you notice how many of the cars throughout the episode looked like they were from the late 60's or 70's?

Wasn't that why he compared it to the Mach V in the episode?

Same as in the Burt Reynolds episode. I thought they were referring to Burt's former show Hawk for that. Them being there in this episode made little sense unless they are actually like that in that city.

Mallory "oh and that reminds me....KRIEGER!"

Krieger "found it"

Pam/Carol/Cyrel "what's he talking about?"

Sterling/Lana "don't ask!"

Krieger "can I keep it?"

Pam/Carol/Cyrel "what's he talking about?"

Sterling/Lana "DON'T ASK!"

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Also I love how haphazardly Mallory just decides she's going to kill the Italian PM. You can certainly see where Archer's immaturity comes from.

I didn't invent the turtleneck, but I was the first to recognize its potential as a tactical garment. The tactical turtlemeck. The tactalneck.
Cheryl: And now we're on the brink of World War Two.Pam: Three.Cheryl: It's not a competition, Pam!
Such a wonderful show.
