Are Vasher and Tillman both OUT tomorrow for Chicago? (1 Viewer)

What is behind them? Are they both out, doubtful...Briggs is out too, right? Tommie Harris? Who exactly is covering the Lions WR tomorrow. Roy is a must start but I wonder if Calvin Johnson is going ot make it onto the field...Shaun McDonald could get a ton of targets but if CJ aint out there, maybe Shaun doesn't perform as well.

I have been looking at Shaun McDonald as a sneaky play for a few days now and I think CJ being out will only increase his targets. Either way it looks like he will get about nine looks a game at least. But am having a hard time pulling the trigger on putting him in my lineup over my top two.

Not gonna name them in this here forum. I knows better.

Shaun McDonald a sneaky play? The cat is out of the bag my friend.

Last I heard around here...both Bear CBs are not expected to play. Marinelli said he expects Calvin to play tomorrow. Will know more tomorrow about 1130am.

No it's not, not really at any rate. He was the 65th WR off the board (ADP) in the week leading up to the start of the regular season. His performance has been nice but people have still been talking about who is #3 in DET McDonald or Furrey as late as this week (you do the search but it's there, I was in the thread, I cast my vote for McDonald).

dude, I doubt anyone drafted him, but he's been putting up #'s for a couple weeks now.

who could possibly not be aware of him at this point?

edit:

there's a whole thread devoted to him a little further down the board started 3 weeks ago:

Anyone think this guy is going to continue to surprise this year? He had a great pre-season and lead the Lions in receiving in week 1. As a #3/4 wr he is more talented than nearly every db he faces. He is very familiar with the offense and benefits from defenses focusing on Williams and Johnson. Does he have Stokely ability from a few years ago?

that was 3 weeks ago.

I was in that thread, what's your point?Should McDonald be rostered in every league?

David Dodds who has had him outside the top50 until this week and even now he is not even a top25-30 candidate...top20 for targets so far though.

Any Chicago homers have an opinion? I don't care if it's just a gut feeling or not, I need to know if I should plug in someone else. Thanks in advance.

Gut feeling is he will not play. More will be known at 1130am, if not sooner. Check into the IDP forum at that time for news on him or any other IDP. There is a thread there specifically for updates on injured and inactive IDPs.

thanks man. I am leaving on a road trip from Ohio to Tenn in 10 minutes... I am taking him out of lineup, just to be safe as opposed to sorry.

I just don't think Detroit will have to throw 80 times this week. Yeah, they'll throw about 40, but they do have running backs, and honestly--I don't expect Chicago to score much. Of course they're going to throw a lot--just not as much as usual.

Per ESPN Radio 1000 in Chicago (Coppick and McMichael) Tillman and Vasher are both OUT today.

Edit to add that Lance Briggs is a game time decision.

So at CB, its Ricky Manning and ???. Could be a long day (several weeks) for CHI.

Injured and maybe (or definitely) out: Vasher, Tillman, Briggs, T Harris, M Brown, D Dvoracek. Yikes.

It's official. Vasher, Tillman, Briggs AND Archuleta are all inactive.

If you got Lions on your roster this might be a good time to start them,

Would anyone still play the Chicago team D against Detroid in a league that gives -4 points for allowing > 21 points, -7 for >28 and -10 for >35?
