At Ten, I Shaved My Head And Tried To Be A Monk. I Thought The Older Women Would Like Me If I Did... (1 Viewer)

Our fraternity's basement song our last year was El Scorcho. For some reason, that sticks in my head as something to be officially™ proud of in life.

Hey, there's not much else, really, besides a Summerpalooza™ fantasy football title. I'm set on another one. :football: But I digress.

This is the new Weezer thread, didn't you know?

You see, Mom. I'm a good little boy (good little boy)
It's all your fault/it's all your fault
gosh darn, this business is really lame
I gotta live on an island to find the juice
So you send me your love from all around the world
As if I could live on
Words and dreams and a million screams
Oh, how I need a hand in mine to feel...

You can't resist her
She's in your bones
She is your marrow
And your ride home
You can't avoid her
She's in the air

I just purchased both this one and Pinkerton on Mobile Fidelity Ultra Gain vinyl. The blue album comes in blue. (Which is like going to eleven. I'm listening to "Only In Dreams" right now.)

Their two best imo.  I think I prefer the Blue Album.  Pinkerton takes a few tracks to really find it's groove, and I also wish it was longer.  Not sure why they did not include Waiting on You, as it fits perfectly.

Warning lights are flashing down at Quality Control
Somebody threw a spanner and they threw him in the hole
There's rumors in the loading bay and anger in the town
Somebody blew the whistle and the walls came down
There's a meeting in the boardroom they're trying to trace the smell
There's leaking in the washroom there's a sneak in personnel
Somewhere in the corridors someone was heard to sneeze
'goodness me could this be Industrial Disease?

Kiss when they listen to Brothers In Arms
And if there's something wrong with it they don't see the harm
In joining their forces and singing along
