He has not been cleared to play.
I tend to agree with that statement.I hear he has been cleared to play and the decision is his.Now he's saying he hasn't been cleared by the medical staff. I thought I heard he was cleared but wouldn't play unless he was 100%....?that would be great if the guy would ever play
What is with this guy...? Dropped Richard Rodgers for him before last week as my bench TE...that turned out great.
He's been telling the media for weeks he's ready to go. The coaches and medical staff are holding him out.Lol this dude is going to be out for the year with a shoulder strain.
Not really news but Tampa beat writer wondered if his designation this past week to doubtful was a sign he had a setback because the other weeks he was listed as questionable. Not sure since end result was the same, not playing, was the same but he knows more then me.Any news anywhere? This has sucked.
Well with that kind of attitude he will. He's just going to get hurt again.
Evans was out that game. I'm skeptical because they haven't played together in over 2 months - a lot of missed chemistry while Winston was developingStud for playoff stretch? Winston loved him m week 1
Austin Seferian-Jenkins - TE - Buccaneers
Austin Seferian-Jenkins reeled in two of four targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' Week 16 loss to the Bears.
Garbage time was kind to ASJ. He reeled in a 43-yard touchdown on Tampa Bay’s final play from scrimmage. He was nonexistent before that and continues to be a relative disappointment for fantasy purposes. Seferian-Jenkins will get one more crack at it next week against the Panthers.

Bucs OC Dirk Koetter suggested Austin Seferian-Jenkins is in a fight to win a starting job over Cameron Brate.
A former UDFA out of Harvard, Brate posted a 23-288-3 receiving line in 14 games last season. Seferian-Jenkins has struggled to stay healthy, missing seven games as a 2014 rookie and nine more last year. "Jameis (Winston) and Cam(eron Brate), they really connected last year," Koetter said. "They had a real good feel for each other in the red zone and on seam routes and just all over the field really. And Cam, well, he really made the most of his opportunities." The job will belong to Seferian-Jenkins if he stays healthy. The Bucs cut Brate four days after Week 1 last season, only to re-sign him after ASJ went down. Still, this could be a make-or-break year for Seferian-Jenkins in Tampa.

same with Reed, until he wasn'tClassic underachiever and seems to be always nicked up.
Rick Stroud @NFLSTROUD
BUcs coach Dirk Koetter said he sent @Aesj88 off the field in OTAs Thurs. indicated he "didn't know what he was doing." "That's between us."
But why delete it?It sounds to me like ASJ let his emotions get the best of him & the gun on Twitter. Koetter down played it, and said it was a voluntary workout anyways. I don't think k the Bucs are taking his unofficial claims about quitting too seriously. It sounds like he didn't know the playbook, and was messing up so they sent him home.
I have no problem believing a mountain was made of a mole hill but I do have a problem with a 2nd year pro NFL player not knowing (or understanding) his playbook. That's a some of something (whatever that may be) that is not good.Quez said:It sounds to me like ASJ let his emotions get the best of him & the gun on Twitter. TGT/Route leaders for TE: Reed (28.6%), Delanie (26.8), ASJ (26.4), Olsen (23.3), Bennett (22.6), Gronk (22.2), Ertz (22.1), Gates (21.4).
Sample size? Reed's stat is impressive considering he played most of the year.
THIS!Also, he could have just meant that he was "Moving On" from whatever issue it was, and he deleted the tweet and reposted to clarify...
But still, as an ASJ owner this isn't what you want to see in the offseason. My first thought when I saw the story? F***.
He has a pretty long history of immaturity. Doesn't look like much has changed. What kind of clown runs right to twitter after screwing up and the rest of your teammates are still on the field?
