Back Up QD in Det (O'Sullivan?) (1 Viewer)

Who is the back up QB in Det. Most of the web sites list O sullivan as 3rd behind Orlovsky. O' Sullivan played in week 1 when Kitna went down. Anyone know anything about this. Let's face it, it is important. You got to believe that Kitna isn't going to last the season/ At this rate Kitna will be sacked 80 times this year

Orlovsky got hurt in preseason and has been slowly nursing (something to do with his toe) back to normal. Who knows what mad Martz will do once he's back 100%. I'd assume Orlovsky would get the nod just on knowledge of the playbook. Apparently when O'Sullivan played he was working from a very limited play selection. Not sure if the same holds for Orlovsky or if they'd open it up more with him because he has a full year under his belt

I'm a Detroit fan. My personal feeling is that Orlovsky is the better QB for Detroit, his playbook should be similar to Kitna, they've both been with Martz for the same period of time. Listening to Martz talk, however, it sounds like he really likes O'Sullivan, but it's impossible to gauge anything from what he's said. Orlovsky started practicing again this week, but he's not 100%, keep an eye on the inactives the next couple of weeks to see if Orlovsky remains the 3rd string QB. My gut tells me that if Kitna goes down, it's going to be O'Sullivan and he'll put up some numbers, but it will be no where near what Kitna does.
