eta* That's not a selfie nor a mirror image of the shirt. I think it's funny...check yourself out!
Supersuckers!April 6
I had to go all Kriss Kross and wear my shirt backwards yesterday to get the band lineup from the 2016 SoCal Hoedown, a Rockabilly festival in Santa Ana. The front just has a small logo over the left chest area.
at my middle-aged rock band t-shirt wearing self. This could go for five weeks and I'd still have new shirts.Do you have many duplicates? I may or may not be doing a theme week here...at my middle-aged rock band t-shirt wearing self. This could go for five weeks and I'd still have new shirts.
Two commishes and a clown up in this thread. Love it.
We had tickets for the now Shelleyless Buzzcocks but the tour got cancelled. Wishing good health to Steve Diggle, one of the heroic rock 'n roll lifers.
Seconded. Was sad to hear of Shelley's passing when it happened. He had worked on some reissues of their material, namely Love Bites and Another Music In A Different Kitchen and I was sad to see someone who had just gotten done with those projects pass so quickly afterward and without the ability to at least bask in their glow. That Singles Going Steady was re-released in a loving way, a half-speed remaster from analog originals, is a wonderful thing, though it certainly suffers from promotion and availability. It's on Domino records, who I find do all sorts of good vinyl re-releases, albeit for a pretty penny. We had tickets for the now Shelleyless Buzzcocks but the tour got cancelled. That's a cool shirt
Thanks. It's a Supreme shirt. I have a skateboard deck with that picture on the bottom of the deck (I know, I don't skate, really). If you're familiar with Supreme, the NYC clothing line, it was way too expensive in sealed resale. That's a cool shirt
Like it. Looks like Atari 2600.Modest Mouse shirt that my wife often steals but I took back for at least today.
Love both of those, especially the one from the drawer. The color one is something else, too.X doubleheader today.
This one is one of my oldest surviving band shirts from the 1990 mini-tour when Billy rejoined. It's got a hole in the back though so I didn't want to wear it all day.
That one is from Mrs. Eephus' drawer. It has the lyrics to "The Once Over Twice" and uses the old bus to nowhere design from the Sex Pistols' "Pretty Vacant" 45.
I remember wearing shoes
That happened my first year in the Bay Area. Mrs. E was a Cal girl at the time.

Brother, preach to the choir. You and me both, though I don't see it on you.Apparently I was slimmer in this era![]()
Yeah it took me about ten minutes to get a decent angle, push the shoulders out, chest in, gut so tight I could barely breathe and take a picture I was able to postBrother, preach to the choir. You and me both, though I don't see it on you.
. oh man- I loved that album. will give it a listen now.Northern Voice said:Plants and Animals from around the time of Parc Avenue which is their only album that still clicks with me.

Supposed to have a new album coming this year. One of the biggest bands from that era I haven't seen.
I do enjoy going to shows. I agree with buying a t shirt to help the band financially if it is what I consider an up and coming group struggling to make it.In the UK, Friday is t-shirt day as promoted by BBC Radio where listeners are encouraged to wear their favorite band shirts to work. We're not that civilized yet so I'll do a thread instead.
I have too many band shirts and Mrs. Eephus has a lot more than I do. Merch sales are vitally important to touring musicians nowadays so for me, it's become as much about supporting the artist as it is about flying the flag.
The first one I ever bought was this Pink Floyd shirt at the first concert I went to as a teenager. At $500 for a vintage one, I'll pass on the nostalgia. My most recent one is for Strand of Oaks because I liked the ravens on it. I don't know if I have a favorite but when I went to a band shirt themed party last year, I wore one like this to rep obscure LA powerpop band Tsar.
