A couple of my buddies and I are looking at getting tickets to the Friday first round games for the NCAA Tournament at the Barclays Center. Anyone here have any kind of hook up for there? Not trying to get free tickets or anything, but maybe some discounted tickets or even just good seats and a reasonable price. I'm guessing the answer is "no", but I figured I'd check with the NYC FBGers on this board.

I can offer no help in terms of tickets... Depending on how my wife is handling the birth of our second kid, I might also be in attendance for this though - prob the Friday session, prob via Stubhub if I go.

What I can offer is good advice on the neighborhood if you're looking for restaurants, transportation, etc. as I live about 10 blocks from there.

I appreciate the offer. My buddy lives in NYC so he knows the place very well. The dude has a hook up for almost every single sporting event any where in the country, yet he's having trouble finding anyone to help here. Just my luck. This guy once decided he wanted to see a Notre Dame game and had a guy fly him on his personal jet and they watched the game from the field. Yet he can't find discounted tickets for the first round of the NCAA tourney.
