Barden vs. Ogletree (1 Viewer)

Both have had 1 great game.

2 weeks ago Ogletree saw his but followed it up with a game in which he returned to who he had been. Now Barden does his thing last night. Previous to these games, both of these guys were an afterthought on the fantasy scene. Ogletree was a top 5 pickup last week and I'll expect that Barden will be one this week. Both have been around about the same time and are likely to remain the #3 WR's on their respective teams going forward. They both have solid QB's and 2 WR's plus a TE in front of them on the pecking order of targets. Is there any difference between these guys? With bye weeks approaching both of these guys should be rostered (12 teams plus) and Barden is waiting in the wings currently. Given Ogletree is likely gone, Barden will be next week as well. Not to make this an assistant coach thread, just wondering which of these 2 you'd rather own, as I see them being interchangeable.

Ogletree. He got his catches when other wr were healthy. Barden only came alive when nicks was out. Neither is great redraft option, but id think ogletree will be a little more consistent.

If Nicks or Cruz are out, Barden is the play....but he could develope into a WR3 by the Giants moving Cruz back into the slot. And it appears that Eli is going to throw until his arm falls off. In the pre-season when Nicks was out, he was the leading WR for weeks 3 and 4.

But Witten wasn't healthy, and they were playing against a defense missing its a few cornerbacks, which had Ogletree matched up against #5/#6 caliber corners.I don't think either Ogletree or Barden will be a viable option going forward except in the case of missed games by WRs ahead of them.
