Humans can only take so much. Week after week if a guy continues to under produce, their faith in him begins to dwindle...eventually leading way for that inevitable trade by you sharks out there.

So guys.. Who do you hope continues to have a bad week.. only in efforts to scoop them up for yourselves?

Mine is Joe Flacco. He's playing CLE this week and is almost sure to do well. But an even average performance from him can lock in my Matt Ryan / Steve Smith for Joe Flacco / Larry Fitz trade.

Lets hear your stories. Maybe we can all use this thread to keep an eye out for those buy lows.

I'm eye-balling Jonathan Stewart. His ADP was already lower than in 2009 and he had some nice yardage (given the carries) last week. Still nothing to alert an owner he may be on the uptick, but enough where you can see some life. I live in NC and every league I am in has at least three other people from here, so I can never get Panthers at expected ADP (so I always pass). While I don't necessarily believe the hype that Williams is gone next season, i do think that Stewart will warrant more playing time (if healthy, which he insists he is...lol).

I kind of hope Gaffney has another down game . . . so I can cut his ###. Did I miss the point of this thread? Shonn Greene and Felix Jones are guys I have my eye on and will look to scoop if the price gets low enough.

As a Greene owner I have to say his value isn't going to get much lower...anybody who still owns him is likely ready and willing to sell him for cheap right now or likes him is probably ready to go down with him rotting on their roster.

Calvin. I knew he'd struggle the first three games based on the competition, Stafford going down only set the table that much more. Plenty of choice matchups down the road.

He was cut in my shallow league this week for Kevin Walter.

I have my eye on DeAngelo. One more bad week and I think his 0-2 owner might give up.
quite possible. FWIW, I "dumped" DWill last week. Salary cap league although his contract isn't outlandish, essentially for Golden Tate and a probable mid-1st. I probably undersold but you could probably underbuy as well.

I'm suprised nobody has mentioned Jamaal Charles. This guy's stock is falling faster than BP.
Charles is a nice guy to target if you can buy him low. Unfortunately, the Charles owner in my league LOVES him and won't give him up. I suspect that's the same in most leagues.

RB Barber has been brutal to Fantasy Owners

Deangelo Williams too

Favre

Jonathan Stewart

Calvin Johnson

Spiller injured

Pierre Garcon & B Berrian

Percy Harvin

Shonn Greene

Gonzo

Crabtree

You probably can't get him cheap but you can get another good RB with less risk or upgrade at WR

Steve Smith, NYG is killing his owners right now. He's not even putting up WR3 numbers. He finished WR45 week 1 & WR57 week 2 in PPR. He's supposed to be a PPR guy, but 4-5 catches won't cut it with those abysmal yardage numbers.

But his targets are there and Nicks caught 4 passes for 3 TD's in week 1. You have to figure that Smith will eventually get some of those kind of TD's and should get loose from the defense occasionally to break the 10 yd/catch mark.

:shock:I agree. He's still the #1 on that team. He had an off week becuase he wasn't really "needed" in week 1, then they got blown out and Eli just spent too much time trying not to get sacked against the Colts. I think when the Giants face more even competition, they'll use Smith a lot more.I just traded for him (Gave T. Hightower, still have a ton of RB depth) in my .5PPR league. He's probably slotted at my WR4 behind Austin, Boldin, and S. Moss right now. I'm willing to wait, becuase his situation is the same as last year. He still led the team in WR targets last week. He'll get his.

In a salary cap dynasty PPR, someone tried to get DeAngelo for: 2011 2nd, 2011 3rd, Felix Jones.

Perhaps just an initial lowball offer, but just an idea of what others perceive the value of D-will is, or what they can get away with...

I tried last week at the height of the BJAX is low RB1/high RB2 talk to trade BJAX, Bradshaw and a 2nd for D. Williams. The owner thought about it and we decided to wait to see how week 2 went and eventually he passed because BJAX flopped...but if BJAX would have put up his TD with 70 yds rushing, it likely would have gone through.I'd love to buy low on D. Williams, but I am kind of glad it didn't go through, because Bradshaw cemented himself as RB1 in NY.

:boxing:Or ... doesn't really believe in Ladanian Tomlinson keeping up this pace.I won't buy that Tomlinson is totally back until he actually plays 16 healthy games, never appears as worse than "Probable" on the injury reports, and finishes 2010 as FF RB12 or better.Aside from that ... Greene is one inevitable breakdown away from starting.

Another guy who's an eventuality away from breaking out ... UNLESS Haley has a personal thing against Charles, and will spitefully bring in street FAs to start in front of Charles.

Imo a stay far away. Unless someone will sell him very, very cheaply.
based on what???
This has been covered in many threads so I won't go into too much detail. But the team looks awful. There have been many reports/rumors of him being hurt. His ypc has fallen off a cliff dating back to the second half of last year. I don't think he'll finish top 10 yet many owners are still going to require top 5 prices...I don't see the reward equaling or surpassing the cost.
