At times I think my local beat writers (Seattle area) are just too soft on the Seahawks. I get the feeling that if they're too critical of the team in any way it would make their job harder because they have interact with these guys on a daily basis through the season. Personally, I feel this leads to way too much of the "<insertplayerhere> looks great in camp" type comments. Just meaningless ego stroking fluff.
