Brown got ripped off though.  Wasn't it like $19 million guaranteed or something?  Right after Demaryius had gotten $44 million guaranteed I believe.

No way ... the Giants like their receiving weapons. I luv  the Daniel Jones with the 17th pick idea ... he's as good as haskins

So, for real though ... OBJ went WR9 and WR7 in the FBG WSLs a month or so ago.

Is he back in the overall WR1 discussion now? I think I'd be tempted.

Fun move and I think Cleveland offense is going to be great next year. However, the team was really built by Sashi through the draft. He left a lot of good picks and it seems like the GM is tossing them away (Tyrol, OBJ). I like the boldness but it also bucks the strategy that really was making them a taleneted team.

The Giants seem to be in panic mode after passing on Darnold and feeling the pressure.

After passing on Darnold ...LOL!! ... and Josh Rosen !!! ... Rosen's already replaced and Darnold is 2-3 years away from replacement 

 
How does this effect the players involved? I’d say

Baker- up obviously. 4500 yards minimum

Odell- same for production, up for long term QB stability

Landry- same, think it’ll be good for him. He struggled mightily being the guy. May see fewer targets but better use of those targets for similar numbers

Njoku- down imo, many were expecting a jump this year, don’t see it happening now

Shepard- same, up a little. When Odell was out last year, his numbers were remarkably similar. Giants will bring in someone as well

Engram- the biggest winner outside Baker. Dude was a monster with Odell out. Eli’s go to receiver.

Preset much agree. Barkley down slightly, especially if they don’t get a better qb. Still 1.01 but closer gap now.

 
I can only imagine Landry, Njoku & Chubb feasting off the scraps left by OBJ. I agree Baker >4200 yards unless Hunt & Chubb both > 1K in a massive ground game attack. Hard to tell how touches will go with any Def scheme targeting OBJ.

All the shifts in AFC North are wild!!

Rosen hasn’t gone anywhere yet and Darnold was 21 last year and after his return from injury he averaged a QB Rating of 99.1 over the last 4 games.

Giants fan here and I'm not happy at all.

I'm not sure what direction this team is trying to go in. People have said this will allow them to rebuild, ok but if you are trying to rebuild why are you letting a 25 yo S and 26 yo WR walk out the door bur hanging on to a 38 yo QB? Why are you singing a 35 yo S?

You were not going to win anything in the next couple of years so why not set yourself up with a ton of picks and 2 future all pros coming out in the next 2 years.  Pretty savvy if you look long term.  Tank for tua, lose for lawrence
