Here's one:
In the inaugural week for my now 16-year-old National Feetball League, on Sept. 4, 1994, Dan Marino threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns and Irving Fryar had 211 receiving yards and three TDs -- in the second half alone. Vick's performance nearly but not quite surpassed Marino's still-standing Feetball league record; Fryar still has the highest-scoring receiving game in our league's history (scoring note: we did give double points for TDs that covered 50 or more yards back in the dark ages but gave very minimal points for yards).
