Stone should be gone
Yep. That was a punk move on his part.Stone should be gone
I have no idea what the refs were thinking.Stone should be gone
Yes, for more than just this game; no place for that.Stone should be gone

Have you had a good feeling about any Maryland conference game this year?
Saw the replay on the highlights again. I still have no idea how Stone didn't get tossed. Should be suspended for the next game as well. The refs comments were total BS. It was an open hand and not a fist?Yes, for more than just this game; no place for that.Stone should be gone
B1G officiating is beyond a joke.Saw the replay on the highlights again. I still have no idea how Stone didn't get tossed. Should be suspended for the next game as well. No, he's not been knobbish until yesterday's game. He should have been ejected - I have no idea how the refs, after reviewing the play for several minutes, couldn't see that. There was absolutely no call for what he did and I think he should sit for at least one game. I haven't read Turgeon's post-game remarks about it, if he even addressed it, but it wouldn't shock me if he imposed a one-game sit himself. Was disappointed when Stone chose Maryland and not UW, but I couldn't fault the kid. Unfounded rumors of low ACT scores and the like wouldn't allow him to enroll here anyways and he probably wasn't even really considering it. But again, I wanted him to to well (and then GTFO of the B1G).
But that was a pretty ####ty move today and he should have been booted. I hope he gets a game or so from the B1G, or hell even Turgeon.
That said, there hasn't been a history of him being a knob has there? This isn't Albert Haynesworth or Ndonkeykong Suh we're talking about here. Hope the kid can learn to control himself.
Oof, MD certainly crapped the bed. Maybe this will be one of those "hey we're not as good as we think we so we better go all out each game" kind of loss. Wisconsin played great. They shoot like that down the stretch and they're gonna be a tough out. They out-everything'ed MD.
Michigan could really use a sweep this week. At Ohio State will not be easy.Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin all elevated their tourney position. I think Indiana and Michigan are solidly in assuming no bad losses. Wisconsin still needs a good win and needs to avoid a bad loss.
I'm dumb as a box of rocks, but they'd be running wind sprints up and down Rte 1 this morning if I was the coach. That effort was pathetic.Oof, MD certainly crapped the bed. Michigan has a brutal schedule left. Iowa and at Maryland and at Wisconsin. Northwestern is their must win and @OSU would be nice. The other three are highly unlikely unless they happen to hit a great night where the threes are falling. I think MSU put on a clinic on how to beat Michigan though.Michigan could really use a sweep this week. When MD cut it to single digits, I thought Wisconsin was done. They kept their heads and the Terps didn't.Good for Bucky. Especially good that they controled thier emotion after Stone's play. They could have come out angry and vengeful in th esecond half and could have collapsed when Maryland made a few mini-runs, but they kept their composure under challenging conditions.
Happy VALENTINES Day to the hoosiers from East Lansing.
Costello says hey too.![]()
i guess they wanted to give you a floor level view, but it sucks. This was a big game for Michigan as 3 of their last 4 games are likely losses. This loss along with the other likely losses, will probably put Michigan on the bubble. What in THE HELL is with this camera angle in the M/OSU game?
I'm actually surprised by this, even with how bad football has gone. Wow.In the last 14 years, Michigan has won 1 total game in football and basketball combined in Columbus. 1-20 against a rival.
Man, Hayes is playing like #### tonight. The hot shooting had to end at some point but damn they are just playing lethargic. Credit to MSU, they're the better team by far. Will the Badgers break 40?
Yikes. Glad I missed this one.Rich Conway said:The Terps are just not a good basketball team at the moment. I don't know if he's hurt, but Trimble isn't right. Hasn't been for a while. Nickens is useless. The backcourt is basically a disaster at this point, and no depth at the 1 - 3.
He's 7-38 (18.4%) over the last 4 games, and has 11 turnovers vs. 12 assists in the last 2.Yikes. Glad I missed this one.
What's Trimble's shooting been the last 4 or 5 games? Like 10-60?
