I dont want to start another thread.  But have a friend making a bet on crypto to boom the most between now and end of 2022.

Someone or other poses this question or similar on twitter 20 times a day. It's a way to get attention and replies. Reading them is mostly people pimping some ####coin they're over-exposed to. If the bet was to pick which top 100, maybe 200, project will do the best, the answers would be interesting in a more active/nerdy forum than ours. But if you include the 20k+ cryptos available... c'mon. No one knows. 

I predict it will be some mostly unknown meme play to earn nft game project. The next Axie. I hope it's Saitama.

While digging thru my wallet looking for my missing transaction I went thru the history.  I started messing around with Bitcoin 4-5 years ago, the history shows the current value of the transactions based on how much Bitcoin was sent/received.  I had several transactions that were 2-3 BTC at the time which was maybe 1-2k, now they show up as 140-180k transactions 😭

My CRO was in coinbase.

I searched SAITAMA in coinbase and it told me to get the coinbase wallet.

I then got the wallet.

Then I moved my CRO to ETH, then got the SAITAMA from the ETH in my wallet.

It was my first time using coinbase wallet, so, im sure im missing a few steps, or maybe even made too many steps.

But you need coinbase wallet for sure.

PS, this is purely a gamble that it was just 30% down and might go back up.

i get it is a gamble. These are the ones I like throwing a couple hundred dollars at.

I have about $11,000 in crypto, mostly in BTC and ETH. I also have SHIB, CRO, ADA and a few others.

did you do the coinbase wallet?  Thats going to open you up to lots of stuff!

 
Fun fact - There are an estimated 56 million millionaires in the world.  There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin (actually materially less than that because of lost passwords).  Microstrategy owns 114,000 of them and soon many corporate and sovereign institutions will be clamoring for them too. 

To own just one will be a very big challenge in the not too distant future, imo.

I had to do this recently. Coinbase txs from 2015 are interesting. Was buying to reload sportsbook accounts and selling on withdraws. The best/worst is an old Kentucky Derby payout. That one really started me off with keeping a chunk of funds in crypto.

I remember my friend making a joke a few years back when we were all using crypto to deposit into sports gambling accounts.  Something like "taking money out of an appreciating asset to lose it on gambling has got to be the worst investment we'll ever make".

Looking back on those transactions now, nothing has ever rung more true.

why do you have to convert from USD to say USBD to buy some coins, but some you can buy directly with USD?

It’s a rhetorical question because the rest of the world is already vaporized while you get an extra 15 minutes at the IONQ launch 4.0 party, so no one hears the laugh.

SO, you dont actually receive any actual coins.  they are kinda like E-coins.

Easiest way to start the journey is to use paypal, or coinbase app.  connect your bank account and click buy.

You DO NOT have to buy an entire coin.  you can buy $500 or whatever of BTC (bitcoin) which is currently valued at $60K.

I think ETH Ethereum is something that is easy to buy and pretty safe.  The amount is up to you.

Thats kinda step one in crypto.  It gets pretty deep after that.

 
PULSE---------------

I assumed I got 10000 "points" for every dollar I had "sacrificed" during the sacrifice period.  I sacrificed on day 17 as I missed the first bit to move money around.  

By sacrificing on day 17, I got the 1.75X multiplier. where as on day 16 it would have been much lower.  But my assumption of the 10000/dollar was wrong.

SO, give or take, I think the math is.   $25K X 5568 points per dollar (day 17) = 139,200,000 X the multiplier of 1.75 =

243,600,000 points.  which should then turn into 243MM of pulse.  (I think)  we shall see.   :coffee:

SO, pulse will start at $0.0000000000

If it gets to $.01 that would be about $2.5MM

Right now, if someone were to sacrifice, the going rate is about $.02.  That does not mean the pulse will be worth $.02 though.  once it hits open market, we shall see.

I would say a buy if its something you believe in, and pass on ####coins just in case, but a 10% drop in crypto is nothing.
