The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports the Cowboys have agreed to a three-year deal with Brad Johnson to be their backup for Tony Romo.

Johnson felt "a strong comfort level" with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, whom he's older than. He should be a good mentor for Romo to fall back on and if Romo gets hurt, a better option than Drew Bledsoe.

Although Romo doesnt have a cannon for an arm I would hardly put it in the same category of noodle arm Brad. Tony's arm is strong enough, he just has midget hands.
