Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

14th year of the league, 11 of them with playoffs for championship. Never missed the playoffs. Made the Super Bowl the last 7 years in a row, and won 4 championships, plus 3 more in the days before we moved to a site that supported playoffs.

This year I have a .727 All Play winning percentage and have been #1 or #2 all year in total points. 10 of my 12 opponents scored over their average when they played me, and the #1, #2 and #5 highest scores in the 14 year league history were all scored against me this season. 4-8 record and missing the playoffs for the first time. Oof.

Alfred Morris (well RG3 really) stunk up the joint tonight, letting me escape with a 1 pt Wk 12 win in a game that was determining playoff seedings next week. If I lost (which I should've, my team sucked this week) I would've faced the #1 seed with Peyton, Calvin, Marshall. Instead I become the 2 seed, and play the guy with Foles, Ridley, Demaryius.

It doesn't truly matter, but felt like a bit of a victory. I believe I've got to beat the Peyton guy to win it all anyway, so I was fine doing it in round 1, or round 2.

PLAYOFFS!~

Having a ridiculous season so far and the best team I have ever had in 15 years in my 16 team league.

Currently 5-0, my total points is 53% higher than the average score in the league.

My all play record is 71-4.

Peyton Manning is ridiculous, accounting for over 3.3% of all scoring in the entire league, but even If I took a zero for him each week, I'd still be 4-1.
7-0, all play record is 97-8.

Even if I took a zero for Manning each week, I'd still be 6-1.
Continue rolling to 8-0, all play record is 108-12.

Not sure how long this is going to last, but I'm going to enjoy it while it does. Started Bolden this week in place of Spiller :D

If I can get anything out of Harvin, Vereen and A.Brown when they return, got a good shot to take it home this year.
Going to keep posting this until I lose.

9-0, all play record is 119-16. Clinched a playoff spot.

Have Manning back but no Charles, starting Andre Brown....
10-0, all play record is 131-19.

Thanks Andre! Let's see if Harvin and Vereen can contribute now.
It continues. 11-0, all play record is 145-20.

If I took a Zero for Manning every week, I'd still be 8-3
Ok, it's over.

Main reason I lost was Manning's performance on Sunday night and A. Johnson's disappearance, my opponent had Edelman and picked up the Steelers D off of waivers

Lost by 8 points, my opponent scored his highest points of the year. I have beaten him in score every single week except the week we matchup.

Freakin Eli Manning outscored Peyton.

11-1, all play record is 156-23.

In four leagues this year. in week 12 I went 4-0 for the third time this year. All four teams are locked to make the playoffs.

In three out of four leagues, I have a chance to finish in 1st or 2nd. Wins in these 3 leagues would get me a 1st round bye.

Last night I locked either first or second place in my league :) I've been in first for the past three weeks, but the one owner (currently in third) who could have threatened my position lost by .13 points last night thanks to the final run from RGIII. I play that owner next week, but thanks to last night's loss, even if he beats me, I will still place 1st or 2nd for the regular season.

The second place owner can only knock me down if I lose next week and she wins, or if we both win and her team beats my team's score by 25 (which isn't super likely, given the projections, but it's possible).

Either way, I'm guaranteed a bye in the first week of the playoffs :)

Rocked into the playoffs in 11/11 leagues this year, which makes 22/23 in the last two seasons. And two straight years where all-play record is above .500 in every league -- with 10/11 at .636+ this year:

79.5%
78.0%
73.7%
72.0%
71.2%
68.9%
66.7%
65.2%
63.6%
63.6%
55.3%

Gearing up for the playoffs and was able to get Rodgers off waiver wire

Limited roster space and no IR. I just had more FAAB $ than the other owners

:pumped:

My only league, $200, 10+ years with the same core group, major bragging rights and if I don't win this week, I will miss the playoffs for the 3rd straight year. 8 of 12 teams get in for crying out loud, it's hard to not make the playoffs. 3 years ago my team stunk, but the this year and last, I have been top 2 in overall points and IMO the best team in the league. My regular starting lineup is RG3, Peterson, Graham, JThomas, Torrey Smith, Keenan Allen, Garcon, Folk, Panthers D. I am going to pissed if this team misses the playoffs. Ofcourse in the final week, must win, I play the team that is #1 in overall points.

Screw you Garrett; screw you Callahan. There, feel better. I pretty much expect to be back here later lamenting the crap/mediocre fantasy production by Romo & Dez.

Day started off w/ predictably bad fantasy #s out of Lacy

GREEN BAY PACKERS PASSING OFFENSE AT DETROIT LIONS PASSING DEFENSE (GREAT MATCHUP)

Back on October sixth, the Lions and the Packers engaged in a duel of (mostly) field goals, with Detroit coming out a loser (9-22). Mason Crosby kicked five field goals while Aaron Rodgers threw 20/30 for 274 yards passing, one TD and zero interceptions. Unfortunately, Rodgers is still nursing his broken collarbone and all reports indicate that he is unlikely to play in this rematch.

Scott Tolzien ran in a TD last week but was benched for ineffective passing (7/17 for 98 yards), leading the Packers to return Matt Flynn to the field, where he once again displayed the game-day form that earned him millions of dollars in contracts from Seattle and Oakland. He threw 21/26 for 218 yards, one TD and zero interceptions and now the Packers have a mini-quarterback controversy on their hands. The coaching staff is being coy about who'll start, but Flynn took the first team reps in Tuesday's practice and looks like the guy who'll get the call on Thanksgiving. Regardless of who was under center, the top three receivers last week were James Jones (12 targets for 7/80/0 receiving), Jarrett Boykin (10 for 5/60/10) and Jordy Nelson (seven for 4/58/0).

The Lions' pass D is 28th in the NFL this year averaging 276.8 net yards allowed per game, with a hefty 21 passing scores given away compared to 11 interceptions (17th in the NFL) and 20 sacks (29th) generated to date. Mike Glennon was sacked four times for -40 yards last week and still managed 14/21 for 207 net yards, two TDs and zero interceptions thrown, while Ben Roethlisberger bombed Detroit for 29/45 yielding 358 net yards, four TDs and zero interceptions two games ago.

Advantage, Green Bay. Also, note that Eddie Lacy has a tough matchup in the rushing phase, so if Green Bay is going to move the ball effectively they'll likely need to throw the ball early and often in this game.

Weather: Inside Ford Field weather won't impact either team.

Nelson owner

I hate Thursday games. My Lacy/Crosby/Romo/Dez only a few more points than my opponent's DeMarco effing Murray....that stud RB who hasn't done squat except the two times I've had to face him.

Yeah, wtf murray hardly ever scores tds and scores 3. Fml

I played Witten in weeks 1 & 12. 2/3 of his TDs are against me. He sucks donkeyballs!

Matt Flynn ruined Lacy for me today in a must win!! I want him out of the league and running a failing business now...

Tony Romo you are garbage...Seriously he's more frustrating to watch then any player ive ever owned. More then Spiller,Wilson,Ridley...Throw the $&@" ball to DEZ BRYANT u pile. Dez catches everything but he never throws it to him. U think anyone on the raiders roster can hang with DEZ?

I made a brilliant move today - had a bad feeling about Boykin so picked up Burleson to cover this week. The result...both players got nothing. NOTHING. Oh well, at least I know I would have got nothing either way.

Three players going today (lacy, crosby, bal d) = 11 pts total. #### this ####. Was debating between baltimore and buffalo d all week decided to play it safe and start baltimore. Zero pts later i wanna stab myself in the eye.

Fantasy football has played a cruel joke on me. I'm not sure what I did but to be propped up so much and then dropped off a cliff is just rude.

Same here, drafted what I thought was my best team ever, dominated most weeks and was the points leader, then collapsed at the end. Limping into the playoffs with a bunch of underperforming ####bags. So frustrating.

Started rod streater and jordy nelson vs murray yesterday. Down 28-6. Guess I still have a shot as the rest of his team minus charles is very ordinary but this is not a way to start. Only way I win is if denver, mainly manning plays like he did a month ago. Got manning, decker, thomas

:lmao: :lmao:

Went to sleep in a turkey daze at 9:30... Must win game, Lacy had already #### the bed and Lev Bell had done nothing.

Woke up to a 26 point performance!! Hope he is healthy for next week!

For all you guys bumming about Murray, know that at least one owner benched him. Me. And I faced Reggie Bush. Unbelievable.

Still technically haven't clinched a playoff spot but sitting in 2nd trying to fend off all others for the regular season overall points total.

Racked up 70 yesterday with over half of my roster left going into Sunday.

I'm thankful for Reggie Bush and DeMarco Murray.

Week 13 sleepers by Bob Henry identified Flynn, Boykin, and Burleson as underrated plays.

There is a difference between sleeper and comatose.

Started lacy and sat leveon bell despite worries about detroits good run d. Needed to win to make playoffs
Started the same... Nothing to complain about - Lev Bell did great, Lacy did terrible - Collectively added up to what they were supposed to though.

Last week of the regular season, with 4 teams fighting for the last 3 playoff spots. Going into the weekend, I had the best chance of the three. Now, after Thursday, I am the one in need of a miracle. The 6-6 team is up by 40 points, I am the only one of the 7-5 teams that is losing. Based on tiebreaker, the 6-6 team beats the 7-5 team that is the only 7-5 team that has the tiebreaker on me - and the worst 7-5 team that would lose all tiebreakers is playing a guy with no qb, no kicker, and two IDP guys not in the lineup.

Started Murray, Crosby and Stafford the other night. I'll take the 56 points that all three accrued for me.

How do you end up benching Murray ?! I have Forte, Moreno, Murray, Bernard and Vereen and play Murray every week he is fit.

Looks like in going 9-4 one game behind the leader who I play next week in the last regular season game in a winner takes the first seed match ! Not bad for my first FF season.

Got a decent game from Dez, but there was so much more to be had in that game. Love me some Justin Tucker, if you can love a kicker.

Gotta watch the weather reports in KC, especially since I own Peyton (and Charles and Orange Julius).

Thanks to the yuck-fest/mediocrity out of my Thanksgiving day players (I'm looking at you Lacy & Romo) & the blow-up game my opponent got from Demarco Murray (3 TDs??? Seriously???), I need Gronk/Keenan Allen/Garcon/Jets DST to out-score Peyton/Shady/Jeffrey/Harry Douglas/Panthers DST/Gould. Vowing to myself: no Cowboys next year unless I can get them at EXTREME values

well forgot to put Foles back in after last week. hopefully Palmer will bail me out.

the onslaught continues....after starting starting jordy and streater against murray on thurs I am up against patterson, fitz today. I had to pickup walker to start for julious thomas and he got injured. I am doomed this week.
