Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

A really bad week for Rivers/Keenan to crawl into a shell. At least it won't matter that I started Rivers over Romo due to my opponent's blietzkrieg by Peyton/Murray in the early games, w/ more to come from his Shady/Jeffrey tonight

Doing work as the 4th seed, took out the 1 seed last week, who had Peyton, Megatron and Peterson.

Getting 43 pts combined from my kicker and D/ST this week, looking good.

Correction: Pats just had a pick 6, bringing it up to 51 pts between my D/ST+PK

Thank you Tyrod Taylor for giving up 16 FF points to the Pats DEF in the last two minutes of garbage time.

And Peyton Manning, you rock!

Ways to lose:

Opponent has Peyton...check

Opponent has Murray...check

Opponent has Shady & Alshon yet to go...check

I have:

Rivers ####ing the bed when I thought he was 'safe" for at least high teens/twenty...check

Lacy on his way to even a bigger game than he had, only to have him leave 3rd quarter...check

Thank you Garcon/Lacy, and useful games (finally) out of Dez to get me to the cusp.

What a draining season

my combo of manning, decker, and thomas got me almost 80 points.... :moneybag: :moneybag: :moneybag:
These guys led me to my first league title in my big money league. I have lost in the championship game twice before so this is kinda sweet. I want to thank the shark pool for all the knowledge and different takes on situations and players. Its beyond helpful. Feel like I just climbed a mountain or something. ;)

Won my 18 year redraft for just the second time. Most unexpected - set the all-time scoring record Week 1, then lost 5 of 7. Turned it around winning 7 of 8, broke the scoring record again week 14, then won both playoff games comfortably. Didn't have the best team but got hot when it counted!

Looks like I just won my 13th year Re-Draft Championship for the record 4th time. 2 week combo matchup, was trailing by 6.5 pts entering this week. Put up my season high at 178 and counting.

This despite Brees putting up an 18 & Peterson putting up a 5. Kudos to Shady McCoy, AJ Green, Eric Decker, and the Bengals DST.

Good for about 900 jelly beans, with 250 more handing in the balance for total season scoring title (which I should lead going into week 17.)

FANTASY FOOTBALL.

Already clinched a division title in one league: 9-1 record

Will win another division title and first round bye with a win this week in another league: 9-1 record

Fighting for yet another division championship in another league with a three way tie for first place at 7-3.

May I remind everyone that I ignored RB for the first three rounds in the leagues where I am 9-1. I drafted Doug Martin in the first round in the league where I am 7-3.

25-5 combined record.

If only I ignored everyone's advice and drafted Calvin instead of Doug Martin in one league in the first round, the result would have been even better.

The new paradigm in fantasy football... Ignore RBs in the first three rounds.
Update: Another 2-1 week but suffered a tough loss in the league that I, you guessed it, drafted Doug Martin in the first round.

27-6 combined record

10-1 and clinched #1 seeds in the playoffs in two leagues

7-4 in the other league
With that catch by Welker, I have lost a tough matchup against a team in our league who has clinched the 2nd seed (Josh Gordon was primarily to blame for that).

Nevertheless, another 2-1 week.

29-7 combined record

11-1 and clinched the #1 seed in one league

10-2 and clinched the #1 seed and a first round bye in another league

8-4 in the final league... still in contention for the division title and a #2 seed.
In the final week of the regular season, I was confident that I would finish strong with a 3-0 record except that Drew Brees crapped in his pants. No matter, my 2-1 final week concluded one amazing regular season.

31-8 combined record

11-2 and #1 seed in one league

11-2 and #1 seed in another league

9-4 in final league and #3 seed... missed #1 seed by 48 points scored

This sets me up perfectly for an early exit from the playoffs!
With a bye, I had two first round playoff games and won them both.

I did get extremely lucky in one league. I had Newton, A Brown, Bryant, T Smith, and Gronk. :topcat: My opponent had Keenum (ARod on bench), Morris, and Bush. I won in a pitcher's duel, 61-48. Won the other league 128-106 with the help of Brees, Lacy, K Allen, Fitz, Graham, etc.

Final Four in all three leagues... thankfully have Cameron in the league where I have Gronk... hoping to keep the best season ever going despite all of the weather and injuries! :drive:

33-8 combined record

12-2, 11-2, 10-4 records in each league

Another 2-1 week and onto the finals in two leagues. I thought it would be 3 for 3 until the ARZ/TEN game went to OT and Mendenhall got 25 or so yards in overtime which gave my opponent a one point victory.

In another league, I survived Jamal Charles!

35-9 combined record

13-2, 12-2, 10-5 records in each league

Barring a 250 yard, 4 TD performance from Gonzo, I will win two fantasy football championships in my three leagues!!!

37-9 combined record

14-2, 13-2, 10-5 records in each league

One phenomenal and fortunate year! :pickle: :pickle: :pickle: :pickle: :pickle: :pickle: :pickle: :pickle: :pickle:

It kills me to say this biit thank god for lesean McCoy and nick Foles without whom I would not have won 5 straight to march toward my 5th championship in 21 years, 3rd in last 9 seasons.

Now I hope you get buried in the nfl postseason

Started my main fantasy league in 1996. In 2004 we converted to a 6 man keeper league.

As long as Boldin doesn't outscore Kaepernick by 20, I will have my first ever win. Don't even care (much) about the money, more to be able to look at my friends from high school in the eye after 18 long years.

Thanks to my rotating Ds averaging almost 20ppg the last 4 weeks when I needed them, Foles to being a great QB and Dez, Lacy and Garcon for combining for 166 points the past 2 weeks. Somehow, I overcame ADP getting 7 points in 3 playoff weeks and Vereen getting 11 points the last 2 weeks and getting hurt this week in the 1st quarter. Dez, Lacy, Garcon and my Ds scored 64% of my points the last 2 weeks to get my the highest score last week and this week, which amazingly makes it easier to win it all.

Glad to at least win one league, but also glad that it is now all over.

The monkey is off my back. Been playing 5 years and finally won one. The best feeling is making almost perfect lineup decisions after over thinking it all week. The only place I could've done a little better was if I'd played Chris Johnson over AP and that would've only gave me 5 more points.

If I'd left Decker out or played Brady over Foles I'd be crying in my beer again this year.

I led one league in points from week one with the best record as well.

I won the championship...with the 6th LOWEST weekly score all season.

Gotta love fantasy football.

Probably gonna lose with Manning as my QB. Had some good performers in other positions, too. Some mediocre ones, and a couple that pooped the bed. Still had a score that would have been high enough to beat almost every other team in almost every week in almost every game this season. But the guy I'm playing against is neck-and-neck there with me and has Kaepernick still to go. One of the highest-scoring games in league history and definitely the biggest one in a finals, ever. I have Phil Dawson and a small lead. It would take a lot of luck for me to win. If I lose, I hope it's by a lot. I don't want to lose by 1 or 2.

In my Money PPR Redraft league, I HAVE DEFEATED THE PEYTON MANNING TEAM!!!

In my Free PPR Redraft league (reddit sponsored NarFFL) I will likely lose the championship as the Peyton Manning Team. Disappointing day for the rest of my team.

Cutler throws a pick to turn my narrow lead into a 0.75 point deficit & gets benched. Hell of a way to lose a championship.
I didn't think anyone would have had a worse loss in the finals than mine. Went down by 8 yards (total) after alshon Jeffrey nabs a meaningless 10 yard catch in the fourth. But you win hardest luck award. I will grant you that. Still holding out hope for a stat correction.

From reading this thread, there was apparently a memo that went out that I missed: championship teams shall include Dez, garçon, and lacy in 2013. There's like 20 mentions of it in this thread from teams.
