Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving. (2 Viewers)

I lost Bell, then Luck, then Ingram, then Dalton along with David Johnson nicked up and Oslen out in the second quarter. #1 seed and lowest point total of the year in the playoffs. /sigh

I was GRONK'D. Owner had Tamme(2 points) in until news of Gronk had him switch it. 12 point swing in his favor.

I had Ginn and Lockett on my bench - both ranked much lower than my WR's here and elsewhere.

Tonight I have Miller, Parker and Landry and need 41 points :lmao:
Update - I lost by 10. Gronk's extra 12 points were the difference.

I sat Lockett and Ginn who got 45 points on my bench. FBG's had both ranked lower than Landry, Hilton and Parker.

Either one would have won it for me.

Having lost Foster, Bell and Edleman, I was limping into last week anyway.

I cannot win at RB this year in my $ league. Lost L. Bell, Foster, CJ2K & Blount. Now Dalton. Thankfully, I have Palmer at QB still, but I need to win this week with crap at RB behind Doug Martin. Hoping I get 2 of B. Brown, D. Robinson, Hightower off the WW tonight because I will have to start at least 1 of them & pray!

My entire team is a question mark. Lost Foster, Lewis, Ingram, and now Rawls. Freeman and Julio are slipping into oblivion along with the entire Falcons offense. Dez is worthless with Cassel. Crabtree has become Desean Jackson 2.0, either 20 or 2 week to week. Lost Romo twice, and now Dalton is toast so have to roll with Tyrod Taylor or Ryan Fitzpatrick the rest of the way. Still have Barnidge at TE, but that means my fantasy team is now dependent on Johnny Manziel (YIKES).

I'm in the semis, but feeling worse and worse about my team every week this entire year. I feel like I'm on the train heading towards a cliff, and I'm just hoping that the crash doesn't come for 2 more weeks...

I ####### hate C. SIms. I need 9 more ####### yards from D. Martin to get the bonus for 100 yards rushing and Sims is gonna be in the rest of the ####### game because the bucs are so far behind.

Now instead of first and goal and the 1/2 yard line and a possible D. Martin TD dive, ASJ throws the ball and gets a penalty.

5 playoff teams affected by that hot mess of a game last night. In two leagues I picked up and started TB D. Negative points. Martin looks like he's gonna crush it, ends with ten which in a ppr is not so hot. Sat Barth at last minute in a league where I used the aforementioned Sucs D. In another, sat Evans and left 20 points (5 for 100 yards) on the bench.

And...Tavon Austin blew my ### up in TWO leagues.

This is gonna be a looooong two days....

Yup I had Tampa D and going up against Martin in a PPR. Tampa got me 1 pt but Martin only got 10.7. Not the worst outcome in the world (especially after the way the 1st Qtr went) but still not great. I won't be able to drop Tampa fast enough if I advance to the next round.

I hate FF this year. I have Ivory and Bullock going in my 1 of 3 teams still alive. Powell scores and Bullock misses an XP. Of course, love the illegal shift to take away another 3 points. I liked Bullock's opportunity tonight and he should have 7 at half, which is great for a K. Instead, he has 2 and Ivory is barely playing and sucking when Dallas' weakness is run D.

I can't remember the last year (been at least 5+) where I didn't win at least 1 of my 3 leagues. Already out in 2 of 3 and not looking good this week. I think I have probably 15 missed XPs so far across all 3 leagues. Pretty sure they said that was the first missed XP for the Jets in 4 or 5 years and it comes the game I use a Jets K in years. :wall:

Then I think you have been on a good run indeed, and should be very thankful my friend.

I think we are all too willing to credit ourselves when we win, but when we catch a few bad breaks it does get irritating.

If you play in only 3 leagues (I typically play 3, 4 this year) then if you have been winning one each year you are ahead of the curve.

Good luck tomorrow, who knows you may pull out a win yet.

7 playoff games this week, Played against Ivory in 3 of them, one team has Fitzpatrick, decker and marshall against me. I feel I dodged a bullet with all these jets against me.

Jordan Reed blowing up agai5me and started BuckAllen over McFadden amd Evans at flex.

Not liking this first half today.

Julio still can't get a RZ target; opponent's Freeman gets the rush TD instead. I knew it....Shoelace was everyone's hot pickup. They just keep running him into a brick wall up the gut.

Well, nice to see my annual week 15 bed-crapping taking shape - across 2 leagues:

- Amendola

- Sammy

- Hopkins

- OBJ

And of course I'm facing Tavon Austin in one league and Jordan Reed in another. :wall:

Terrible week. Happens to me every year. I compile a team that is in top 2 or 3 in points all year and they throw a clunker when the playoffs start.

Bye week and lost Ingram and Rawls
I've never understood "Bye weeks" in ff. I guess you can't take a loss but if there are 5 things that can come of it, 4 of them are bad.
Whether I had the bye week or not had no affect on a guy getting hurt. I still moved on to the next round even with the injury. So name one thing bad that can come out of a bye week.
You could have easily have put up the highest points in your league with your normal starters...except it wouldn't have counted so you lose the chance to eliminate an opponent who maybe this was the best week to catch them (they lay an egg when you're on "bye" and then light it up the next two weeks and beat you. And on that bye week, you lose your starting qb, wr, rb, etc. and next week when you do play that guy you could have beaten while you were on bye, that opponent is now starting Joey "no name" smith, the back up to the guy you lost last week....and he scores 15 on you.

So, yeah, 4 things right there and it happens ALL the time. I'm watching games today and there are no less than 6 backup rbs putting up points and three of them and two qbs just got their start this week due to a loss to injury last week, when you were on bye.

Every single year. Happens to so many people. It's one of the reasons you really have to question why we even do this.

Love seeing my players produce the week after I get knocked out.
Be sure to note that to Shadyridr. He thinks bye weeks are good.

Imo, there is nothing worse than watching the high variances of the week13-15 ff playoffs. Seems like it bites you no matter which side you are on.

lmfao dude got knocked out last week and his team is blowing up this week. Wouldn't a bye have helped him?

Suck Allen joins my list of players I will actively root against for all eternity for letting me down when I need them most.

LMAO...of course Travis Kelce would have his most heavily targeted game this week, when I bench him. Screw you Reid/Smith, where the hell was this the past 6 weeks or so?

Played Cousins, but also started Starks and Lacy. Suddenly not looking as smart as I thought I was when Cousins lot it up before the 4pm games. Whodda think Woodhead would score more points in one half than he has in 2 months?!

In order of

  • Jordan Reed
  • Blake Bortles
  • Allen Robinson
  • DeAngelo Williams
  • Bengals DST
  • Antonio Brown
On to the Championship

Well it's Ajayi scoring from the 12 instead of Miller and Lacy loses one TD to Kuhn and is destroyed from the 1 on another.

18 points down the drain. There went my season.
