Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving. (2 Viewers)

Lost by 2 points because of the missed kick, against Demaryius. It's alright though, the other guy scored more points than me. I've got another championship to play in next Sunday because the commish is a noob, lol.

Hopefully I can win that one.
Drubbed my opponent by 30 points today!

I can't remember the last year (been at least 5+) where I didn't win at least 1 of my 3 leagues. Already out in 2 of 3 and not looking good this week.
Then I think you have been on a good run indeed, and should be very thankful my friend.

I think we are all too willing to credit ourselves when we win, but when we catch a few bad breaks it does get irritating.

If you play in only 3 leagues (I typically play 3, 4 this year) then if you have been winning one each year you are ahead of the curve.

Good luck tomorrow, who knows you may pull out a win yet.

Well, I didn't get into the championship game (I did win the week of the post) because Ben Watson sucked in place of OBJ. I still won the total points in my highest $$$ league. Barring some crazy stat change, I finished with 2103 total points and because ADP went out with back spasms and didn't get any more points the second place team finished with 2101 total points through 17 weeks. I even had some goofs this week like Rams instead of Chiefs and not going with my gut of Delanie Walker over Cooks (Atlanta was #1 against WRs and an away game), but I got the total points prize, which is actually 2 times the Superbowl prize, so I am not sure if that counts as "winning" one of my three leagues, but it feels good after such a long year of injuries turning the best team I had (was best in league, easy) into an easy loser in the 1st round of the playoffs. Last year I won the total points and championship in this league, which made for a nice payout.

Week 17 Championship week didn't work out so well for this Blake Bortles starter :( I guess I can feel good about having such a competitive team (top seed, 2nd high scorer, runner-up for Championship) with so many injuries (Dez, Luck, Forsett, Foster, DJax, Eifert).

No idea how I ended up winning the total points this year in the one league where that actually pays the most $$$ of any prize in any of my 3 leagues. I had just about given up on my team about halfway through the season. Somehow, Cooks starting playing well and I found a waiver gem in Delanie Walker (and Ertz at the end). I picked him up in week 11 and he averaged @ 20 ppg for the 6 games I started him (started Ertz this week for +3). It was like having 4 top 10 WRs starting every week the second half of the season.

It really was about PPR receivers this year. I had Julio (#2, 6 points behind Brown), Odell (#5, 1 point behind Hopkins), Cooks (#13, 2 behind Calvin) and Walker (#16). Walker was actually the #2 TE only 10 points behind Gronk. My QBs were Fitz/Taylor, who were low end QB1s although they had nice runs at the end and outside of this week, I usually played the right one. RBs were Ivory, Bernard and a mix of cast offs at the end. Ivory wasn't bad, only 39 points from 3rd place RB Woodhead. RBs were a crap fest this year, even the #3 RB Woodhead likely didn't get that many points for his owner. Half his points came in week 1 (likely not started) and after bad games (biggest game was after a run of 1,9,6 and 3).

This was definitely the year to go WR early and use WR in PPR flex spots. Only Freeman and Peterson were solid through out the year. Even Forte was surrounded by ww/late round RBs.

I'm a paid member and truly have you to thank for my success. In the past 4 years, I've placed 1st three times and 2nd once. That's YOUR doing, Football Guys! Thank you!
