Giants DST...worthless. Screw you Andy Reid/Alex Smith; throw the damn ball to Kelce. It's not that difficult to figure out what your offense needs.

 
I'm sitting at 1-4 in my home league with Calvin, Cobb, Amari Cooper, Kelce, among others. I can't seem to get consistent performance out of my players week to week and have routinely put up the lowest scores.

I almost exclusively play dynasty...I'm learning that I'm just not at good at assessing immediate value compared to the long play involved in dynasty.

 
In one league, I'm down 16 with Antonio Brown and Eric Weddle still going. Kicker Josh Lambo still to play in the opponent team.

In other league, I'm down 14 with Le'Veon Bell still going. Antonio Brown is in the opponent team.

I'm not so optimistic!

 
Drafted Gates late in a redraft league, held through 1st 4 weeks. Felt I couldn't start him first game back, must start Kelce instead. Of course, 1st quarter he has already matched Kelce's recep/yds & also has a TD.

 
I have seriously offended the magic football gods. 0-4 heading into the week - .5 lead over my opponent (the #2 team in the league) with two IDP players remaining against his one IDP player. In the bag? Will Allen OUT for the game - now he has a safety left against my Def Lineman. So close....0-13 here I come.

 
Why why why do I keep subjecting myself to this.I mean I know when I suck at things in real life and quit trying them.When am I going to figure out that one of the worst things I suck at is fantasy football.Jeez will I ever learn?

Argh. 3rd time this year I have finished with the 2nd highest score in the league but lost (by 0.3pts this week) to the highest scoring team. I'm now 2-3 with by far the highest total points score, yet even though I have the highest total points my aggregate components have still scored more against me than I've scored.

Just brutal right now.

ETA: 5 times in this league a team has broken 150 points this year. Two of them were by me, and the other three were all against me.

Lost on (essentially) the last play last week (Ingram overturn) and won on the last play this week. Ah the circle of life.

2-3, 2nd in Total Points, 2nd in Total Points Allowed.

And the 2 guys above me in my division both won. 1 had the 2nd lowest points of the week and....played the lowest points of the week. Dandy.

Scheduling is a pain in the ###.

 
I think the football gods are trying to tell me something. I benched Brady is Week 1 in favor of Romo and Dez gets hurt (the WR part of my DAL stack). I still don't learn my lesson and play Romo again over Brady in Week 2 so the gods decide to hurt Romo. Lesson learned the hard way...never trust in Dallas and I'm starting Brady in Week 3! Count me lucky that I drafted Brady two rounds after Romo and his suspension was overturned.

 
Lost my 2nd game this season by less than half a point. Where and when can I find any stat corrections? Yes, it's pathetic.

Benching Kelce is hard to do. I'd probably have played Reed. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up Barnidge and dumping Reed before the games but so glad Gates looked good.
 
So, looking for some crowd sourced advice here. Sitting at 3-2, feeling pretty good about the team, but hoping to turn of my rb's into a better wr since my depth is solid... Best I could drum up in a trade right now is giving Ivory for John Brown. I love me some JB, but that seems a bit stiff of a price. Owner wouldn't go K Williams for JB though. Thoughts? Is it even an upgrade? Feel like Hopkins gives me a nice floor while JB could offer week winning upside, but there are likely too many mouths to feed in Arizona for him to ever truly hit that level...

How about this? You are up by a jillion points going into SNF with only Eli, Vereen and some rookie kicker in San Diego whose name sounds like a Latin dance left on your opponent's squad? Eli goes for 42, Vereen hotfoots it for another 20-something, but you are stll up more than 6. Everything is awesome Monday night until the waning moments when SD lines up for a 53-yarder, but come on, he's a soccer player right? NNNNooonan! Laces Out! Finkle! Nooooo!

What a horrific way to lose. To top things off, it gives me the SECOND waiver pick, so I don't even get Charcandrick to ease my pain.

Just proves how much luck is involved in this stuff.

In my top money league:

The guy in first place has scored 445 pts. and has 352 pts against. He's 4-1.

The guy in last place has scored 517 pts. (3rd most) and has had 622 pts. against. poor ******* is 0-5

 
Freeman is killing the rest of the Falcon skill player's potential. The possibility of benching Ryan in favor of Bortles is quite viable. The Falcon schedule is juicy but Freeman is the prize of the 2015 FF season. That score on their second TD was just painful to see. About as painful as the Falcons getting the ball back with seconds left and Ryan sitting at 295 yards. All he needs is 5 yards for a bonus but instead - he fumbles the ball. Losses points and fails to secure a 300 yard passing bonus. Freeman - you are the bane of my FF season ;-(

 
Brees w/ a nice real NFL game, but mehhh for fantasy; Julio w/ that final catch turned in a decent game but hardly anything that will lead me to victory; Cooks...I just need Steve Smith to be playing full games again, I hope he holds up well @ SF this week so I can feel good about using him going forward.

 
This will be my last year playing any kind of FF.

Been more than 20 years now.

The state of the NFL, injuries, the scandals with Draft King, Duel, etc.says this industry is toast and soon.

If you have been in it for two decades now, Im gonna guess you have had a few beers tonight and bitter about a bad run. Happens.

 
Kicker dejour killing me, this week Santos. Ive got 23 points out of my kicker position this year, I swear I am spending $5 on Goskowski next year. :rant:

 
SMH, can't do anything right. Benched John Brown & started Duke Johnson instead at flex (also started Brandin Cooks @ WR instead of Brown, so I had 2 chances of getting it right & got it wrong twice), in what looks like a tight matchup. FML.

 
Last week left Doug Martin on my bench and lost because of it. Left Martavis Bryant on my bench and will likely lose because of it. I suck.

 
Thought I had this week in the bag with my opponents top 4 players on byes. So he picks up Starks, no big deal. Right..

 
Sat Jeffery and Bryant. Started Calvin and both Jag WRs. I don't regret it. My opponents D/ST and K tanked on TNF for a combined +2 points. I think it was the safest play.

Cannot believe I listened to Dr. Jene Bremel. He got on the high ankle sprain soapbox on Tuesday's Audible and never backed down.

Forsett is playing less than an hour from where he went to school with 50 people in the stands.

Shame on me for listening to somebody trying to justify their existence when i knew in my heart Justin was going to go today.

 
On my bench week 6 in my main league: Rivers, Jon Stewart (duh), John Brown & Steve Smith. I shouldn't be allowed to set lineups.

 
Had a 2 point lead plus Cobb/Jones/Lacy

other guy had Greg Olsen and Tucker (K).

Even after the first half it wasn't loooking too bad.

Made it worse I had Ivory and Miller on my bench. Can't blame anyone but myself for rolling out Lacy again.

Ouch. I started Smith once I heard he was active, but I dropped Stafford and Stewart in another league because they had sucked and I had better options. Would have helped today. Oh well.
 
Had to start Melvin Gordon at Flex. Didn't really have a lot of options with Gurley and Doug Martin on their bye weeks and Yeldok hurt, but I thought Gordon might actually show up in front of the Wisco fans.

As it turns out, Gordon...is not very good. 2 fumbles, 29 yards, no points. Next time I'll start a mannequin or a bag of frozen peas and just hope for the best.

 
0-5 heading into SNF...have the highest score for the week at 103.5. Late td by Luck and now down 107 - 103.5. One other team even hit 90 this week and my 0-5 team faces the only other team to break 100. Well now I neeed Jordan Matthews to outscore Rashad Jennings by 4 or else I am 0-6. At least it has reached a point where even the losses are ridiculously easy to laugh at.

 
New England DST got 2 points for blocking that meaningless extra point. That's irritating. Going to be much easier for me to lose on Monday night now.

 
Need to join a league where you can set your lineups after the games. I always choose the wrong players. Next year, I am going to have a weakass bench so I won't have to make such tough choices.

 
Just posted up a score of 162 points in a non ppr league, absolutely massive - dalton, Ivory, foster, Hopkins, Julio, Olsen, J Brown, Catanzara and Broncos.

Julio lowest scorer in entire team which seems funny
