0-4 this weekend. Two money leagues I lost by 5 points in each. One of them was killed by Kupp when up against Lamar. The other was just bad lineup choices, although the top three in season points all lost.
I personally think people toss around future draft picks like tossing out a used popcicle wrapper. While I always try and win now, I like to play for both now and the future and usually try not to trade my draft picks if possible. I will do it, but it isn't my first option in a dynasty or devy league.Third year in a row in my long-time dynasty league where I've traded away next year's 1 and 2 for win-now players, only to get bounced in the playoffs because I ran into some bonkers game by my opponent. My flex (Pollard) goes down, allowing my opponent's flex (Spears) to go for 27 freakin points, and I lose by 5.
I've taken the opposite approach. I have no qualms about trading a pick, because I've wasted first round picks (across 3 different leagues) on guys like CEH, Burks, Rondale Moore, Ruggs, Pitts, Kendre Miller, and Jonathan Brooks and gotten almost zero return for them. I would rather trade a first for a productive player over taking the gamble on the pick not panning out. But now that I've done it 3 years in a row, I have a team full of guys like Henry and Chubb and Evans and Tyreek and age is about to kill me.I personally think people toss around future draft picks like tossing out a used popcicle wrapper. Typically, but not always, making the playoffs = more skill, winning a championship = luck.Highest scoring team with second best record. Had highest pts against. Lets finish this **** out
Wow, it sounds so simple. I'll work on that.Draft betterI've taken the opposite approach. Ditto.. I did the same! Congrats. Started the year 2-5 and now playing for the title!I’m the 5 seed and I took out the number 1 seed.
This has turned into my most grindy underdog team ever and I’m in the championship against what looks to be the other long shot.
Currently the #6 seed is up on the #2 seed by 5 points and has their TE, Kraft left. #2 has GB defense.
Josh Allen killed my fantasy teams the last couple weeks. Seeing an opponent with him in the lineup is terrifying. Tonight was one of the rare times Allen didn’t come produce.Josh Allen's stinker today took away any shot I had. Seems like he always puts up these types of games in fantasy playoffs. Maybe due to the weather up there.
Got Aubrey'ed (29 points). He has the lead and Kendre, it's over. No back-to-back for me!Count this as a grieve and a brag, for now:
Have Hurts. Conner going against me. Still 33-point favorite.

In one league (PPR/PPFD) I’m up 30 going against Jacobs. Eh…Got Aubrey'ed (29 points). He has the lead and Kendre, it's over. No back-to-back for me!Count this as a grieve and a brag, for now:

I'm on the flip-side of that... Super Toe pushed me out to a 26-pt lead last night. Opponent has Jacobs tonight though so... not comfortable, but I would rather be up big and looking back than the other way around.
Incredible! I hope you win all 4.Total leagues I'm in = 6. I made the finals in 4 of 6 dynasty leagues. Missed 5 of 6 by 4 points. I'm satisfied with that. Technically I could go to 5 of 6 if the Packers score 26 points, but that isn't going to happen. Also, in the same league I would have been in a much better position had I played Abdullah over Warren and Purdy over Rush. I debated the hell out of those and did a lot of swapping back and forth. I chose wrong That would have brought me 14 points closer and I would have only needed 12 points from GB def. Choosing the right lineup is probably the weakest part of my game. All in all I can't be disappointed with the week 16 results.
You're playing 4D chess, my friend.I was also able to claim Jalen McMillan by dropping Saint D last minute when I realized I was losing the bench points tiebreaker. McMillan got me enough to win the bench points should I somehow lose one point to a stat change.
I sent this AI image to my opponent this morning.Got Aubrey'ed (29 points). He has the lead and Kendre, it's over. No back-to-back for me!Count this as a grieve and a brag, for now:

No one is going to bench Jackson for Goff or Hockenson for Schultz. The other one however, is very subjective.I made all of the wrong decisions...they were the right ones according to all rankings. But if I had changed any of these I would have won.
Lamar over Goff
Brian Rob Jr. over Bigsby or White
Hockinson over Schultz
Someone told him he was going against meHey, Travis, nice of you to show up after doing ****-all the last few weeks when I was still in contention.
Hey, Travis, nice of you to show up after doing ****-all the last few weeks when I was still in contention.
The fantasy Gods hated you last week and they hate your last week opponent this week. This is why the Gods laughed when they said, "let men grow hair in their ears as they age".Guy I lost to last week had CD and Chuba beat me by 3.5. then of course this week they're both out. Why couldn't they have been out last week!
Anyway...
