Brandon Jackson vs. Fred Taylor (1 Viewer)

Let's put it this way:

Over the last 3 seasons, the best RB in Green Bay has finished 8th, 22nd, and 17th.

Over the last 3 seasons, the best RB in New England has finished 29th, 27th, and 25th.

F Taylor hasn't had more than 150 carries since 2007.

F Taylor hasn't played a full season since 2003.

I like Taylor this year and a I think Packers go get someone via trade that knocks down Jacksons value.

I know its been a while since Taylor has done anything and and injuries something to be worried about, but he is the man in NE and they will give it to him alot this year if healthy.

I can see Packers going after Lynch or making a trade with Ravens that will take carries away from Jackson.

Just my feeling.

While Jackson is pretty clearly the right answer to the question at hand, this rationale is a little off in my book.Jackson has a high of of 75 carries. So in 207, 08, and 09, his TOTAL carries was around 150 carries. And he obviously never played a full season.Put another way, Fred Taylor has had games where he scored as many rushing TDs as Jackson has scored in his entire career. Taylor loses out in that he's almost ready to collect Social Security, but he's certainly got Jackson trumped in terms of experience. Taylor just seems destined to get nicked up at some point this season (not that Jackson is a lock to stay healthy).
