Brandon Jacobs - why so low on the weekly rankings? (1 Viewer)

I am deciding between a banged-up Lynch vs Miami or Jacobs vs Philly. I am leaning towards Jacobs based on his recent performance and the fact that he ran all over Philly (at Philly) the last time they played. That said, Philly does have a decent run defense.

Is there something I am missing here? Why is Jacobs so low on the weekly ranking (19th overall)?

Oh, it looks pretty close to right to me (a Jacobs owner). The rankings are based on Dodd's projections, and the guys Dodd has in front of Jacobs either will get more carries, or receptions, or both. Jacobs has always been money this year with the opportunities he's given, so I'm starting him with confidence, as usual, and wouldn't trade him for many of the guys listed above him this week.

I'm benching Jacobs in favor of Deangelo and Lynch, with Addai as my flex. Good news is I can rest Jacobs since I've clinched playoff berth.

I'm starting Jacob's this week after getting burned by benching him in weeks 10,11,12 and 14. I'm benching Hightower who has a great matchup this week. I'm just letting everyone know because this means Hightower is going to go off and Jacobs is going to suck.

Jimmy J was too worried about Burress...( he as much said so) to the point that he didn't even bother to change his gameplan in the middle of the game. That allowed Jacobs to run roughshod.

I'd like to see that quote.I think if they stack the box that just leaves them open for Hixon to burn them deep and could set Jacobs up for some redzone attempts.I've gotta decide between Jacobs and Lynch... and since Tomlinson didn't have a monster day, I'll probably roll with Jacobs since he seems to have a higher ceiling than Lynch.
