That Low Winter Sun show is horrible. It's like a combination porn parody of The Wire and The Shield, without the intercourse.
I'll give it time, but The Shield similarities are what I caught too. Just gonna give Ziggy some love. If he wasn't on it: *clicks the remote*That Low Winter Sun show is horrible. It's like a combination porn parody of The Wire and The Shield, without the intercourse.
Which is why Jesse dying would be more of a punch in the stomach.I'd rather see Walt die than Jesse. Jesse is sort of the moral compass of the whole thing. I'd also would like to see Jesse kill Walt. Walt needs to die. He can't escape death forever like he has.
Leeroy Jenkins said:It's a beater car the gun guy supplied him. Walt didn't even know which car it was until he hit the button to lock/unlock it. The gun was already in the trunk.Zow said:Watching the Pilot episode. I think Walt is driving Jesse's original "Capn" car.
Walt's an amoral character that has been dead even before his self created birth into becoming Frankenstein. Everything around him is rotten except Jesse. Skylar accepting his amoral ways won't save their own children. Walt's son is just another example of another failure in his mind with his son's challenges. Walt was a man who once believed in the basics of what a human creation was based on. What he believed ultimately betrayed him. Jesse doesn't know any better other than what his own heart tells him. Walt can't survive without Jesse because Jesse is his soul now. He always saves Jesse because without him he means nothing. So it makes sense that Jesse has to kill him. It's the perfect release of Walt's tortured soul.Which is why Jesse dying would be more of a punch in the stomach.I'd rather see Walt die than Jesse. Jesse is sort of the moral compass of the whole thing. I'd also would like to see Jesse kill Walt. Walt needs to die. He can't escape death forever like he has.

Didn't people used to say this about Hank's minerals though? I remember we all thought he'd come across something while doing his mineral collecting that would help him make the connection to Walt and break the case open. I don't remember anything coming of it though, although maybe I forgot. All the comparisons between Walt and Gus at this point. Wonder if Walt poisons everyone with the ricin similar to how Gus poisoned the cartel. I know it has been pointed out that the ricin is not fast acting. The ricin has been focused on so much it has to have a big role to play.
Great read thanks!Did not realize he was valedictorian and Harvard grad.Excellent interview with Dean Norris.

Its funny reading predictions from page 1Good start to the season. Here's my guess how it goes: Crazy Tuco ain't gonna last long and the boys will take over his empire. Walt will struggle with leading the dual life and eventually either get so sick from the treatments or just tired of always worrying about his family that he will try to quit.
Absolutely. He likes Hank.Great read thanks!Did not realize he was valedictorian and Harvard grad.Excellent interview with Dean Norris.

Also this sounds interesting
Hank had so much inner angst for the last three seasons; well see how much inner angst goes on in the last eight episodes. [Laughs.]
And this:
I would just love it if Hank were the last man standing.
You can still be the hero and not be standing.
Also Norris's take on that last scene is WW pleading with hank to be careful not just a threat.
Wow this one was close...which will probably coincide with Hank's fatal heart attack. That was a really fun episode. Love Saul. Love the break from the home life of Walt. Love the look that Hank gave after the got the fake Heisenberg. Too easy and he knows it. I can't wait for the moment Hank realizes that Walt is the guy.
it was a jointAnyone catch the scene where Jesse is in waiting room to see Saul.
He is next to Huell. (Saul's Bodyguard)
Jesse goes into his pocket to grab his cigarettes?
It just seemed like the focus on the cigarette pack was more than usual...or was it just me.

yea, I know, it was a joint in his cigarette pack, but it's been stated that Huell planted a pack of cigarettes on Jesse (link below) that eventually poisoned Brock.it was a jointAnyone catch the scene where Jesse is in waiting room to see Saul.

Probably was to make sure you saw that it was a joint and not a filtered cigarette. The humor in the receptionist saying Jesse Pinkman is smoking pot in the waiting room has a different rhythm and is funnier if you already know he's smoking pot.Anyone catch the scene where Jesse is in waiting room to see Saul.

I actually thought for a moment hule was going to tell him "don't smoke that!" Like if Jessie's joint was in upsidedown and then Jesse would realize he was right that hule nabbed the cigs and knew about the ricin one. Thankfully the writers are smarter than that.Anyone catch the scene where Jesse is in waiting room to see Saul.

I don't see a 19 yo chick "loving" either show.I'm not disagreeing with this. I agree but I don't know why.The Wire and BB are obviously close.
Rewatchability? I'd give the nod to The Wire. More characters. More layered.
But I have no hesitations recommending BB to anyone. The Wire? Somewhat recommend it to a more discerning viewer.
A 19-year-old sorority chick would love BB. The Wire? Not as likely.
BB deserves points for being accessible to everyone. For that reason I'd give the nod to BB over The Wire.
I would say that most people who love BB would love The Shield. So I should be watching the shield?
I tried the first episode. Seemed exactly the same as all the other cop shows out there. I suppose you have to stick to it but it certainly didn't grab my interest. I thought the bald guy was annoying. So I should be watching the shield?
Anyone know if The Shield is on Netflix?I would say that most people who love BB would love The Shield. So I should be watching the shield?

When it first aired I watched the first episode and didn't continue. It wasn't until the third season that I gave it another shot and I'm glad I did. Great show. Vic rules!I tried the first episode. Walt poisoned Brock with berries from a plant he has in his backyard.
Huell REMOVED the ricin cigarette so that Jesse would think Gus did it.

"That bald cop either solves or commits every crime in LA"
If you watched the whole first season and didn't really like it, I'm not sure if it's the show for you. Although season two is a bit different due to it's focus on the ports. I liked it but some people put it at the bottom of the seasons. You guys are convincing me to give The Wire another shot. I watched season 1 and thought it was just ok. Are 2-5 different/better or mostly more of the same?
GordonGekko has figured it all out. You can read his 3,000-word documents from a page or two ago.DID YOU GUYS FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT YET???
I agree with this. Out of all the remaining characters on the show, Walt killing Jesse makes him the most bad in the audience's eyes I think.Which is why Jesse dying would be more of a punch in the stomach.I'd rather see Walt die than Jesse. Jesse is sort of the moral compass of the whole thing. I'd also would like to see Jesse kill Walt. Walt needs to die. He can't escape death forever like he has.
