Breaking Bad on AMC (2 Viewers)

So those of us savy enough to have watched originally should get empty commercials as not to spoil it for the latecomers and front runners?

;)
I have no idea what you just said.
DING!
Is this one of those Arctic Edge aliases?
I dunno, I thought it was pretty friggin funny. Clever too.
I don't get it. Abraham posted something that I didn't understand. Why would Hector ring his bell?

Maybe Hector just had his account activated (finally!) and was just looking to ring the bell a little bit.

You didn't understand Abe, so Uncle Uncle was just trying to translate it for you

Can someone in here do me a favor. If AMC ever decides to show reruns starting from the beginning, please let me know via PM or start a new thread. I don't want to have to keep coming in here to check and have the entire series spoiled. TIA.
Absolutely not.
Thanks for the heads up, guys

I check on a whim today and it looks like they're airing all 4 series in a matter of weeks soon.
They started on June 11. They're on season two right now. Season three starts June 19.
Starting again on June 28, showing about about 3 episodes a night until season 5 premier on July 15.
Kind of. On the second go-around, it looks like they're showing season one, a couple episodes of season two, and season four. Link.
No, I've looked at the schedule on AMC. They are playing 2-4 episodes in the middle of the night starting 6/28. All of season 2 will air between 6/30 and 7/4.

Saul is phenomenal.

============

Saul: "How much time are the doctors givin' you?"

Walt: "Weeks -- maybe."

Saul: "Ohhh, sorry to hear it. ..... I was hoping we could make some real money together."

:lmao:

One of my favorite scenes last night when Walt sees the the guy at the hardware store and tells him he is buying the wrong stuff and to quit making it so obvious :lmao:

I forgot how great the end of season 2 is. me some Jane The Addict and intro of Gus :moneybag:
Totally. The scene with Walt frantically breaking into Jesse's crib to get the stuff, when at the same time Skyler is texting to tell him that the baby is coming... fantastic television.

Pilot is on now. Such a great show.
It's interesting to go back and watch early episodes of a long-running series. Sometimes it takes the actors a while to get to know their character. In the pilot, Jesse sounds like he's doing a Rocky Balboa imitation... "ayyy YO", instead of the skateboarder/pothead-sounding "YO" it would become later (if that makes any sense). Same thing happened with James Gandolfini. Through most of the Sopranos pilot, James Gandolfini sounds like James Gandolfini. No regional New Jersey accent at all. Then by the second episode, Tony Soprano was out in full force.

Jesse was terrible early. He ended up nailing it though. Much like Flynn :scared:

Yeah, if you go back through the first 30 or so pages of this thread, most of us were destroying Aaron Paul.

I forgot about this little kid in the crack house. :(
Watching now and wondered something about when the show is on live. They just finished the scene with Walt and Gretchen in the restaurant and Walt's "#### you" gets censored out. Do they do that regularly? I watched all the episodes off torrents with all the language and stuff left in. That'll bother me if I'm watching live and they block stuff.
Yeah, just saw that. It's been so long since season 2 was on live but I can't imagine AMC would let an F-bomb fly.
I started watching the show with S1 DVDs, and the first episode had nudity (the chick Jesse was with next door when the house got busted was topless) and cursing. So the DVDs have the non-censored stuff that AMC cuts or bleeps out.

Then goes outside and tells them to get out of his territory.
This whole sequence is so underrated and is quite pivotal in the series. At that point Walt was out and had no reason to get back in the game. But he couldn't stay out of the game. No matter were he focused his energies in that episode, nothing made him feel so alive and valued and when he was in the game lecturing the meth makers and telling them to stay out of HIS territory.

Interesting to read our own early takes on it:
Is it just me or is "Jesse" the worst actor ever?
Them tweaker kids are real messed up. I think he may be nailing it. I go back and forth on this though. Love the show. Just caught up on all three new episodes in a row on demand. I can't believe they left Tuco in the grave "to bleed". Ridiculous. Other than that this might be the most well-written show there is.

Aaron Paul was brilliant from the get-go. In fact, he was supposed to be killed off in the first season but Gilligan decided after the second episode that he was too good to kill him off that soon.

I have no idea who played Jane's father, but he was magnificent. You could feel his anguish right through the screen.

Edit: Jesus, this guy has done everything: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0209496/

That's an actor's actor.
Q
He should legally change his name to Q, because that's who he is. Forever.
:lmao: I had to scan his IMDB credits to see WTH you guys were talking about.

I've never seen Star Trek other than the original series.

Halfway through Season 2. This show is almost too tense to watch. Especially right before bed. It's like every minute of every show you're waiting for some big time thing to go down. My heart may not make it through this season.
Wait until season three. "one minute" is goin to kill you.
Damn it gets more intense than the Tuco stuff? Seriously not sure I can handle it - definitely not before bed time anymore.
:goodposting: It's in the running for "best TV Show ever" for good reason.... Just wait.
I really think it has been for the past 20 years, it only got 5th place in Tim's draft though:http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=639936&view=findpost&p=14403481
