Breaking Bad on AMC (3 Viewers)

You guys are complaining about the Breaking Bad aftershow? If you dont like it, dont watch it. I dont understand why people would be bothered by such a show airing, I would love such a show with Cranston and Gilligan after the episodes going through the process of filming that episode.

I don't get it either. Same with the Talking Dead....you're getting more of the show, in some capacity, how is that bad?

I'd say she's "resolved" to the situation. By the time they are having a cookout with Hank she seems contented by the fact that he is no longer "involved" and presumably no longer a danger to her and the kids. Keep in mind that there is some passage of time between the arians in the jailhouse and the BBQ.

Wikipedia shows that Cranston directs the next episode. He last directed 3.1 (No Mas).

A few small details I'd forgotten. Where did Jesse think the ricin cigarette had gone?, for example. But other things pop up... like at the end of episode 2, "Madrigal", when Hank is listening to his boss about getting fired for the Fring fiasco, and the boss says "he was right under my nose the whole time, and I didn't see it", yeah, I 'got it' the first time I'd seen that scene, but this time, I notice Hank's expression is exactly the same as when he's taking a dump.

More of dragging it out, I guess. As far as I can remember, by doing 16 episodes, they paid everybody the same thing for all the episodes, because it's considered 1 season technically within the industry, rather than having to give raises between seasons if they made it 2. But AMC still wanted to have 2 years' worth of programming, advertising, etc. Something like that. But I'm also kind of drunk right now, so could just be talking out of my ###.

Will probably watch S5 episodes again before August. At least the last couple of them. My memory sucks.

I'd say my favorite scene is the last 10 mins of S4. Gus and Hector at the nursing home followed by the closing shot showing the Lilly of the Valley. ####### awesome. That is as much of a reveal of Walt's character than the Tuco explosion scene.

Also love Tuco and Hector with the ricin burrito. So much tension. "why don't you like them Teo?"

You may not remember, but late last summer you went to a popular restaurant in Culver City (the one with the outside seating that’s first-come, first-serve). You pleasantly asked if you could sit at our table since there were no other seats left, and we happily obliged. After glancing at you about five times, I realized who you were. Having just completed a marathon of Breaking Bad’s entire run, I awkwardly asked if I could shake your hand, and you did!

Then my husband told you that he’s been trying to get his big brother (also sitting with us) to watch your show for months, and that he still hadn’t.

Then you said, in a menacing, methodical voice (aka Heisenberg), “Your brother’s a p###y.”

We were giddy for the next week straight. Actually, we’ve been giddy ever since and have renamed the restaurant The Bryan Cranston Experience. Aside from our wedding, I believe it stands as the greatest moment of our married life. To this day, we tell the story to anyone who will hear it. We should probably stop.

So no question, just wanted you to know how much you rock!

Vince Gilligan said in an interview it won't be "just a dream". He hates that technique. If I remember correctly he said it would be very much real, so your other worry wouldn't happen either.

Actually, for no reason, I am optimistic that Jesse will live and Walt will not.

I have thought for a long time that Gilligan still has plenty of latitude to determine the entire tone of the entire show. He can kill/capture Walt and let Jesse live, ultimately letting well intentioned naïveté and hope when out while evil is punished. He can make the show a dark thing by letting Walt live and killing Jesse, which would be artistically
