Breaking Bad on AMC (1 Viewer)

Walt kills all the Nazis, gives the ricin to Walt Jr., rebuilds his "empire", which makes his old empire look like a two-bit operation.

Walt and the Principal are in gigantic Colombian mansion a couple years later, sipping drinks and laughing poolside. "Nobody can stop us now!" Walt laughs, wearing nothing but his hat and a Speedo.

Cut to shot of the ground where the shootout occurred. Hank's hand comes out of the dirt, Thriller-style. Roll credits.

I think the name for the last episode came from the song (and because it's an anagram for Finale). I'd be surprised if it didn't- the coincidence of a man who does something "evil" ostensibly for someone he loves and then flees town only to return are just too great.

But I don't think they're getting the entire narrative structure of the last season from the song, so there's no reason to expect the finale to follow the lyrics exactly or something dumb like that. I think it's just a cool coincidence, like "Ozymandias" or the fact that "Granite State" both refers to New Hampshire and is synonymous with Gray Matter.

Assuming you mean 5b, AMC will be running the entire series before this weekend's finale, so just look up when they are all on and start recording from Blood Money on.

Are the bills marked in some way? I would think that, spent with discretion, they'd be usable in small to medium-sized quantities, and could be laundered for larger transactions, like the purchase of some (a lot of) land.

With Gray Matter back in the mix, it is a little surprising that Elliot and Gretchen haven't offered to help Skyler with her legal defense? I mean, they did offer to pay for all of the Walt's medical bills, and you know they can afford it. Granted, they might not want to help someone they thought was a friend and is, for all they know, guilty of having aided Walt in building his meth empire, but still. In Walt's assorted newpaper clippings, one had the headline "CLAIM: She knew" or something like that, so it seems like the level of her involvement was a running question.

That would be the worst possible direction for the show to take at this point. You can't be added some last minute justification/explanation. That might ruin everything that came before it. If they wanted to provide more background on Grey Matter they would have done so by now.

I missed the part where they clarified why Walt left Grey Matter. Or was that cut from the ham-handedly inserted Charlie Rose interview?

I'll stand by my statement: we don't need further justification and if they do go that route it will most likely suck.

 
From what I understand and this wasn't fully explained within the series but from an interview with the actress that plays Gretchen so not sure how accurate it is:

Walt goes with Gretchen home on holiday (Thanksgiving maybe) to visit her parents and Walt felt insecure about not coming from a wealthy family, also there's a love triangle between Walt+Gretchen+Elliot and Walt is the odd man out and leaves the company and lets them buy him out for $5k.

So if that is all there is to it, I agree it is not worth doing a flashback to cover, there's more important things to wrap up than that loose end. That being said I would be ok with them showing it if they also explained Walt's contributions that lead to Gray Matter's success, but not just for the romance info alone.

I hope won't be a scheduling conflict for "Better Call Saul", but Badger's playing Anna Faris' baby daddy in her show.

He was playing GTA with his kid, where the kid learned that if you beat the hooker with a pipe enough, you get your money back. No Star Trek scripts though.

My latest prediction, Todd accidentally impales Lydia, but not the good kind of impale. Her box has been referred to as her wood chipper and Gilligan's hint for the finale was woodworking, plus she kind of looks like a vampire.

Maybe it's Lydia pushing Todd in a feeble attempt to save her own ###? It'd give us a very, very satisfying demise to Todd, who became the biggest **** of the series after capping Andrea.

Walter, rifle in hand, opens the door intending to gun down all the Nazis. To his surprise he finds himself in a church anteroom, and there is Hank smiling at him. "But you're dead!" Walter says. "Yes I am," says Hank. "Then...I'm dead too?" Walter asks. Hank gently nods, and opens the door to the church.

Inside the church, smiling and waving, are all Walter's loved ones and old friends: Gale, Mike, Jane, everyone who has died. They all hug each other and shake hands. Then Gus Fring walks to the back of the church, opens the door, and there is a blinding light, and the series ends.

I dont know the before and after but this is my shot at the middle!

Walt kills the Schwartz's unknowingly freeing Jesse---they meet again in an awkward moment of who is gonna kill who and neither do. Both realize that their lifes are now F'd and that their basically dead anyway.

 
about the money: i assume walt is going back to NM to reclaim his $80 million from jack. but how to get it to his family? isn't it possible to set up a non-profit for a shell charity and have the family draw off that money forever? i seem to recall a sham charity being used as a shelter in the show Revenge (cough, cough) so walt could maybe use one. also, junior set up the Walter White Cancer fund online. could that not serve this purpopse?
