I have to ask. Are people seriously looking at picking up AND STARTING Hoyer for fantasy purposes this week? How are those teams still alive? Do people really think a guy with a week of practice on an offense that has looked horrible is going to come in and light the world on fire? Do people have no better options than Hoyer? I've seen a lot of Hoyer in the preseason over the years, and he never wowed me playing on a prolific offense, let the Cardinals. I would not hold out hope that Hoyer does much, if anything, even if he were thrown to the wolves. I suspect he is just there to finish out the season as another QB option. I doubt he sticks with Arizona into next year.
well those of us in start 2 qbs that had say Manning, RG3, Vick, and Alex Smith might be interested. Just a guess though.I have to ask. Are people seriously looking at picking up AND STARTING Hoyer for fantasy purposes this week? How are those teams still alive?
I don't see Hoyer as anything but an NFL back up. Hope that helps.Dynasty, this is important.
I'm thinking it has more to do with Fitz owners (although he still isn't startable in most cases IMO).I have to ask. In a start 2 QB dynasty with QB heavy scoring I haveSchaubFlaccoPonderWebbOsweilerHope that helps.I don't see Hoyer as anything but an NFL back up. Hope that helps.Dynasty, this is important.
My Week 15 Starter sub-heading was geared towards him starting for the Cards, not for any fantasy teams.I have to ask. Are people seriously looking at picking up AND STARTING Hoyer for fantasy purposes this week?
Cards have openings at both starting and backup QB for 2013.When you say he's NFL back up quality, Card fans are salivating. We haven't seen anything that good since Week 6 this year.I don't see Hoyer as anything but an NFL back up.
If Arizona starts him then I have to think someone might wind up starting him. Especially in a toilet bowl playoff. For me, the bigger question is how does it impact the rest of the team and the defense that faces him.I have to ask. At this stage, I don't see Hoyer being more than your 4th QB. I guess he is worth kicking the tires on, but I don't see him turning into a regular NFL starter any tim e soon.In a start 2 QB dynasty with QB heavy scoring I haveSchaubFlaccoPonderWebbOsweilerHope that helps.I don't see Hoyer as anything but an NFL back up. My first thought as well. He's been on my bench most of the year and any chance this guy is the equivalent of a defibrillator for Fitz, I'm at least paying attention.I'm thinking it has more to do with Fitz owners (although he still isn't startable in most cases IMO).I have to ask. I went into sell mode in one of my dyno's and have purged everything backup QB behind RG3, Mallett and Flynn are all that remains - I'll be throwing a speculative dart. More likely scenario is a low cost depth for depth offseason swap for an uninspiring vet but darts like this can make that a non-issue. Less than 10% chance of panning out, but...a chance.I don't see Hoyer as anything but an NFL back up. Hope that helps.Dynasty, this is important.
